THE FIRE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

 

The Victorious Queen of the World, Sr. Natalia of Hungary (1901-1992)

I saw God's Holy Spirit — as a devastating fire — inundate the world.  This fire did not bring peace, nor mercy, but devastating punishment.  Wherever the flame of the Holy Spirit swept through, the evil spirits by the thousands fell back to hell.  But before everything was ruined, I saw the Holy Virgin fall on her knees before Jesus, praying, asking for mercy for the world.  Jesus did not look at her, but watched the Heavenly Father.  The Heavenly Father did not pull back His hand extended over the world in His just anger.  Then the Holy Virgin took from her shoulder the mantle of peace and suddenly covered the world with it.  All those parts of the world that were covered with the mantle escaped the punishment and shone in the blue color of peace.  But where the mantle did not cover the surface, the red color of anger could be seen glowing like embers.  I understood that we could escape from the just punishment of God only if we sought refuge under the mantle of our Blessed Virgin Mother, and pleaded for mercy through her.

 

The Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Elizabeth Kindelmann (1913-1985)

“The flame of grace which I give you from my Immaculate Heart must go from heart to heart.  It will be the miracle which will blind Satan.  It is the Flame of Love and unity and we shall extinguish fire with fire: the fire of hate with the fire of love!  I obtained these graces from our heavenly Father through the wounds of my Holy Son.

  I saw that He was carrying an iron rod in His hand, which had a ball of fire at the top. ..

While saying this, He was swinging the rod He had in His hand, in the act of wounding man. I said to Him: ‘Lord, what are You doing?’ And He: "Do not fear; do you see this ball of fire? It will cause fire, but will only strike the evil – the good will receive no harm."  (Vol. 2, Aug. 10, 1899)

 

"My daughter, if you want to be always transformed in Me – even more, to be one single thing with Me - love Me always and you will maintain your transformation with Me. In fact, love is fire, and whatever woods are thrown into the fire, small or big, green or dry, they all take the form of fire and convert into fire itself; and after these woods have been burned, one can no longer discern which wood was one and which another, neither the green one nor the dry one – one can see nothing but fire. The same when the soul never ceases to love Me. Love is fire that transmutes the soul in God; love unites, its flames invest all of the human operations and give them the form of the divine operations."  (Vol. 10, Oct. 1, 1910)

 

"My Love is fire, but not like material fire which destroys things and reduces them to ash. My fire vivifies and perfects, while it burns and consumes all that is not holy - desires, affections, thoughts which are not good. This is the virtue of my fire: to burn evil and to give life to good. Therefore, if the soul does not feel any tendency to evil within herself, she can be certain that my fire is in her. But if she feels fire mixed with evil within herself, it is very doubtable whether that be my real fire."  (Vol. 11, Apr. 10, 1913)

 

I will purify the earth by fire, because the stench that emanates from it is such that I cannot bear it.  Many will remain buried in the fire.  In this way I will make the earth come to its senses.  (Nov. 2, 1917)

“By the fire of the Spirit of Love, the work of the great purification will be quickly accomplished.” “It (the Church) will be deprived of its earthly goods and purified of many of its means of power that once again it may become poor, humble, simple and chaste.  In its pastors and its flock, it will again be crucified that It may give perfect witness to the Gospel of Jesus.” “Through the power of fire and blood, the whole world will also be renewed.  Humanity will return once again to the glorification of the Father, through Jesus, who will at last have established his reign in your midst.”   (#246, May 30, 1982)

 

“The great mercy will come to you as a burning fire of love and will be brought by the Holy Spirit, who is given to you by the Father and the Son, so that the Father may see Himself glorified and the Lord Jesus may feel Himself loved by all his brothers.” “The Holy Spirit will come down as fire, but in a manner different from his first coming; it will be a fire which will burn and transform everything, which will sanctify and renew the earth from its foundations.  It will open hearts to a new reality of life and lead all souls to a fullness of holiness and of grace.  You will know a love that is so great and a sanctify that is so perfect that it will be such as you had never known before.”  (#357, July 3, 1987)

Jesus showed me in a vision that after the cleansing, mankind will live an angelic and clean life.  There will be an end to the sins against the sixth commandment and an end to lies!  The Savior showed me that unceasing love, happiness and divine joy will signify this future clean world.  I saw the blessing of God abundantly poured out upon the earth.  Satan and sin were completely defeated and took leave.  The cleansed world will gain, through the Blessed Virgin Mother, the peace of the Lord.

 

"My Immaculate Mother will be victorious over sin with her power as Queen.  The lily represents the cleansing of the world, the coming Age of Paradise, when humanity will live as if without sin.  This will be a new world and a new age.  This will be the age when mankind will get back what it lost in Paradise.  When My Immaculate Mother will step on the neck of the serpent, the gates of hell will be closed.  The hosts of angels will be part of this fight."

"'It is time that the Holy Spirit reign.' Very moved, the Lord told me this. He went on, 'and not a remote reign as something very sublime, even though it be so and there is nothing greater than He since He is God united and consubstantial with the Father and the Word. But it is necessary that He reigns, here, right close, in each soul and in each heart, in all the structures of My Church. The day on which there will flow in each pastor, in each priest, like an inner blood, the Holy Spirit, then will be renewed the theological virtues, now languishing, even in the ministers of My Church, due to the absence of the Holy Spirit. Then the world will change, for all the evils deplored today have their cause in the remoteness of the Holy Spirit, the sole remedy. Let the ministers of My Church react, through the medium of the Holy Spirit, and the whole world of souls will be divinized. He is the axis around which revolve the virtues. There is no virtue without the Holy Spirit. The decisive impulse for raising up My Church from the state of prostration in which she lies, consists in reviving the cult of the Holy Spirit. Let His place be given Him, that is, the first in intellects and wills! No one will be lacking anything with this heavenly wealth. Take courage, resume the journey in trust and hope.  You are approaching moments of grace in which you will see flow out upon the world the torrents of divine mercy.  The world will then be purified by this divine fire of love, and it will be completely renewed, so that Jesus may bring into your midst his kingdom of grace and of holiness, of justice, of love and of peace.”  (#602, Dec. 8, 1997)

 

St. Augustine – “My Lord, grant that your Flame of Love may burn in me and growing into a single flame may it burn constantly on the altar of my heart.  May your Flame of Love burn through my soul and consume it, so that the last day of my life may be a day of union with you forever. Amen.”

 

Consecration to the Holy Spirit

 

O Holy Spirit, receive the perfect and total consecrate of all my being.

 

Deign to be from this moment hence in every instant of my life and in my every action:
my Director, my Light, my Guide, my Strength and all the Love of my heart.

 

I abandon myself without reserve to all Thy divine action

 

 and I want always to be docile to Thy inspirations.

 

Holy Spirit, transform me with Mary and in Mary into Christ Jesus

 

 for the glory of the Father and the salvation of the world.
Amen.

 

 

Come, O Holy Spirit.

Come and change the face of the earth.

Come quickly.

Come in these last times.

Come now that the great trial has arrived.

Come and bring us your second Pentecost

so that our eyes may see your greatest miracle

The Transfiguration

Book of Heaven, Volume 21 - March 22, 1927

“My daughter, when the sun rises, it dispels the darkness and makes the light arise.  It changes the humidity of the night, with which the plants are so invested as to become oppressed, numb and melancholic; but as the sun rises, it turns that humidity into pearls, studding everything – plants, flowers and all nature.  Its silvery halo brings back joy and beauty, taking away the torpor of the night; and with the enchantment of its light, it seems to take all nature by the hand, in order to vivify it, embellish it, and give life to it.  The sea, the rivers, the springs, are frightening, but it makes the variety and the vividness of their colors stand out.

  

In the same way, as my Will rises, all the human acts are invested with light; they take their place of honor in my Will, and each one receives its special shade of beauty and the vividness of the Divine colors, in such a way that the soul is transfigured and enveloped with an indescribable beauty.  As the sun of my Will rises, it puts to flight all the evils of the soul; it takes away the torpor produced by passions; even more, before the light of the Divine Fiat, the very passions lap up that light, and aspire to convert into virtues, to pay homage to my Eternal Will.  As It rises, everything is joy.  And even the pains, which, like seas at night, are frightening for the creatures - if my Will rises, It puts to flight the night of the human will, and removing every fear, It forms Its golden background in those pains.  With Its light, It invests the bitter waters of the pains, and crystallizes then into a sea of sweetness, in such a way as to form an enchanting and admirable horizon.

The Gift

 

THE GIFT

(Book of Heaven, Volume 19, Sept. 29, 1931)

“My daughter, the living in my Will is a gift that We give to the creature – great gift that surpasses in value, in sanctity, in beauty and in happiness all other gifts, in an infinite and unreachable way. When We give this gift so great, We do nothing other than open the doors to make her the possessor of Our divine possessions - the place in which passions, dangers, have no more life; nor can any enemy harm her or do her evil. This gift confirms the creature in good, in love, in the very Life of her Creator; and the Creator remains confirmed in the creature; therefore, the inseparability takes place between one and the other. With this gift the creature will feel her lot changed: from poor to rich, from ill to perfectly healed, from unhappy, she will feel that all things change for her into happiness.

To live in Our Will as gift greatly differs from doing It; the first is prize, and Our decision to win the creature, with an invincible and irresistible force; to fill the human will with Our own in a sensible way, in a way that she will touch with her own hand, and with clarity, the great good that comes to her, such that only someone who is insane would flee from such a great good. In fact, for as long as the soul is a pilgrim one, the doors do not close behind the gift, but remain open, so that, freely, not being forced, she may live in Our gift; more so, since Our Will will not give this gift by necessity, but because It loves her, and It is fully her own.

On the other hand, to do Our Will is not prize, but duty and necessity, to which, willingly or unwillingly, she must submit; and the things that are done out of duty and out of necessity, if they can be shunned, are shunned, because in them does not enter the spontaneous love that makes one love and recognize Our Will as worthy of being loved and known. The necessity hides Its good, which It contains, and makes one feel the weight of the sacrifice and of the duty. On the other hand, the living in Our Will is not sacrifice, but conquest; it is not duty, but love.  She feels, in Our gift, her own self dissolved within it, and she loves It not only as Our Will, but also because It is exclusively hers; and by not giving It the first place, the regime, the dominion, she would not love herself.

Now, my daughter, this is what We want to give to creatures – Our Will as gift, because by looking at It and possessing It as one’s own thing, it will be easy to let It form Its Kingdom. This gift was given to man in Eden, and, ungrateful, he rejected it back to Us. But We did not change Our Will - We keep It reserved, and what one rejects, with more surprising graces We keep prepared to give it to others. Nor do We care about the time, because centuries for Us are like one single point. However, great preparations are needed on the part of creatures – to know the great good of the gift in order to long for it. But the time will come when Our Will will be possessed as gift by the creature.”

Abandonment to the Will of God

 

ABANDONMENT TO THE WILL OF GOD

Volume 1 – “What I want from you is that you abandon yourself in my arms as if you were dead. Until you keep your eyes opened to look at what I am doing and at what the creatures do and say, I cannot operate freely upon you. Don’t you want to trust Me? Don’t you know how much I love you, and that everything I allow, either through creatures, or from demons, or directly from Me, is truly for your good and serves for nothing but to lead the soul to that state for which I have chosen her? Therefore, I want you to remain in my arms with your eyes closed, without looking at and investigating this or that, trusting Me completely, and letting Me operate freely.”

Volume 12, July 2, 1918 - I was saying to my beloved Jesus: ‘Jesus, I love You; but my love is small, therefore I love You in your love, to make it great. I want to adore You with your adorations, pray in your prayer, thank You in your thanksgivings.’ Now, while I was saying this, my lovable Jesus told me: “My daughter, as you placed your love in mine in order to love Me, yours remained fixed in mine, and it became longer and larger within mine; and I felt I was being loved the way I would want the creature to love Me. And as you adored in my adorations, prayed, thanked, these remained fixed in Me; and I felt I was being adored, prayed and thanked with my adorations, prayers and thanksgivings. Ah! my daughter, it takes great abandonment in Me. And as the soul abandons herself in Me, I abandon Myself in her; and filling her with Myself, I Myself do what she must do for Me. But if she does not abandon herself, then what she does remains fixed in her, not in Me; and I feel the operating of the creature as full of imperfections and miseries - which cannot please Me.”

Vol. 12, August 6, 1919 –  “Abandonment in Me is the image of two torrents, each one unloading itself into the other with such impetus, that their waters blend together; and forming gigantic waves of water, they arrive at even touching Heaven, to the point that the bed of those torrents remains dry. And the roaring of those waters, their murmuring, is so sweet and harmonious, that Heaven, in seeing Itself touched by those waters, feels honored and shines with new beauty; and the Saints, in chorus, say: ‘This is the sweet sound and the harmony that enraptures, of a soul who has abandoned herself in God. How beautiful it is - how beautiful it is!’”

Another day He told me: “What do you fear? Abandon yourself in Me, and you will remain surrounded by Me as though within a circle, in such a way that if enemies, occasions or dangers come, they will have to deal with Me, not with you; and I will answer for you. True abandonment in Me is rest for the soul and work for Me; and if the soul is restless, it means that she is not abandoned in Me - a just pain restlessness is, for one who wants to live of her own, doing great wrong to Me, and great harm to herself.”

 

Volume 13, Oct. 18, 1921 – “…disturbance is nothing other than lack of abandonment in Me, and I want you so abandoned in my arms, that you must have not even one thought of yourself; and I will take care of everything.”

Volume 16, Feb. 10, 1924 –  “if the soul did not live completely abandoned in my Will, she would be like someone who lived in a sumptuous palace, and now leaned out of a window, now out of a balcony, now went down to the main door. So, only seldom or in passing does the poor one pass through some of the rooms, and therefore she knows little of the regime, of the work that is needed, of the goods which are there present, of what she can take, and of what she can give. Who knows how many goods are in there, and she knows little about it, therefore she does not love that palace as she should love it, nor does she esteem it as it deserves.

Now, for the soul who lives in my Will and is not completely abandoned in It, self reflections, cares for herself, fears, disturbances, are nothing other than windows, balconies and main doors that she forms in my Will; and by going out very often, she is forced to see and feel the miseries of human life. And since the miseries are her own property, while the riches of my Will are mine, she becomes more attached to the miseries than to the riches, and so she will not come to love, nor will she enjoy what it means to live in my Will. And having formed the main door, one day or another she will go away to live in the miserable hovel of her own will. See, then, how complete abandonment in Me is necessary in order to live in my Will. My Will does not need the miseries of the human will; It wants the creature to live together with It - beautiful, just as It delivered her from Its womb, without the miserable provision that she has formed for herself in the exile of life. Otherwise, there would be disparity, which would bring sorrow to my Will and unhappiness to the human will.”

 

Volume 35, Mar. 6, 1938 – “My daughter, when the creature abandons herself in our Will, our satisfaction is so great that she pours into Us, and We pour into her, giving her our new Life, new love, new sanctity and new knowledge of our Supreme Being. When the creature abandons herself in our Divine Volition, We can make the greatest prodigies and the most surprising graces in her, since our own Will will receive and deposit what We want to give to the creature. By abandoning herself in our Will, she storms Heaven, and her empire is such that she imposes herself over our Divine Being, enclosing It within her littleness; while she, triumphant, encloses herself within our Divine Womb.”

Volume 36, June 12, 1938 – “Oh, if everyone abandoned themselves in my arms! The earth would disappear for them, they wouldn't pay attention to anybody, I would be enough for all. I love, so much, the one who lives abandoned in my arms that I show her the greatest excesses of my love, my love jokes, my caresses. I reach the point of inventing new love tricks to keep them busy and centered in my love. Therefore, live abandoned in my arms and in everything you will find your Jesus defending, helping and sustaining you."

Volume 20, Nov. 16, 1926 – “…the more you abandon yourself in the Supreme Will, the more you advance along Its ways, the more knowledges you acquire, and the more you take possession of the goods which are in the Divine Will; because in It there is always something to know and to take.”

Vol. 36, Sept. 5, 1938 -  “…I was thinking to myself: it seems to me difficult to live in It; how can the creature reach this point? The human weaknesses, the circumstances of life, many times, are too painful; the unexpected encounters, the so many difficulties that one doesn't even know what to do - wouldn't all these things lead the creature astray from a life so holy that it would take a perfect attention not to? And my sweet Jesus, continuing His say with such a tenderness that I felt my heart exploding, added: "My little daughter of my Will, my interest and my continuous yearning for the creature to live in my Will is such that, once we've made the agreement, Myself and her, with a firm decision that she must live in my Fiat - this being My Will - I am the first one who makes the sacrifice to obtain the intent, so that she may live in It. I place Myself at her disposal. I give her all the graces, light, love and the very knowledge of my Will, so that she herself has to feel the need to live in It. When I want something, and she promptly accepts doing what I want, I take care of everything; and when she fails for weakness, for inconstancy or for negligence, not for will, I come to compensate, and I do what she was supposed to do, transferring to her what I did as if she had done it.”

From In Sinu Jesu, When Heart Speaks to Heart -

 “How does one come to that degree of trust?  By entrusting to Me very little things, day by day, as they arise, and by leaving them to Me. This was also the wisdom of My priest Don Dolindo.  ‘Jesus’, he used to say to Me, ‘you take care of this.’ And then he went his way lighthearted and confident that I would honor the confidence he placed in Me.”

Jesus, I abandon myself to you. You take care of everything!

The Glory be….

May 1, 1920 - “My daughter, for one who lives in my Will, her Sanctity has only one point - it is the continued ‘Glory be’, followed by ‘as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end.’ There is nothing which does not give glory to God - complete in everything, always stable, always the same, always queen, without ever changing. This Sanctity is not subject to setbacks, to losses – It is to always reign. So, Its foundation is the ‘Glory be’, Its prerogative is the ‘as it was in the beginning, etc.’”

March 2, 1926 - I prayed Jesus to give me the grace to fulfill His Most Holy Will. And my beloved Jesus, as though wanting to cheer me, came out from within my interior, and squeezing me tightly to His Most Holy Heart, infused new strength in me. At that moment, the Heavens opened and I heard everyone say, in chorus: “Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit”. I don’t know how, but it was my turn to answer: ‘As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.’ But who can say what was happening? In the word “Father” one could see the creative power flowing everywhere, preserving everything, giving life to everything. The mere breath of this word was enough to maintain everything He had created intact, beautiful and ever new. In the word “Son” one could see all the works of the Word, renewed, ordered, and all in act of filling Heaven and earth to give themselves for the good of creatures. In the word “Holy Spirit” one could see all things being invested with a speaking, operative and vivifying love. But who can say everything? I felt my poor mind immersed in the eternal beatitudes, and my adorable Jesus, wanting to call me back into myself, told me: “My daughter, do you know why it was your turn to say the second part of the ‘Glory be’? Since my Will is in you, it befitted you to bring the earth up to Heaven, in order to give, in the name of all, together with the Celestial Court, that glory which will never end - ‘world without end’. Eternal things, which never end, can be found only in my Will, and one who possesses It is in communication with Heaven. This soul takes part in everything they do in the celestial regions, and she is as though in act together with the celestial Blessed.”

THE VEIL (updated)

During Adoration while praying with my eyes closed, my vision was filled with a incredible bright light.  From within this light, I saw what appeared to be a very large chair with a high back and side arms. It was as though looking through a fog of light.  I then saw vaguely an outline of a person engulfed in the light.  As the light was very bright, it was hard to see clearly.  While looking into the light, I began to think of our Heavenly Father and a prayer welled up within me to Him.  Then I said, “How can people not know that you are their Father, their Daddy.  How can they think of you as being anything other than that. “   (people at that time had been calling Our Father – Father-Mother, and it bothered me – which is probably the reason for my saying what I did)  Continuing to see this vision before me,  I was startled to hear Him say, “Love them as I love them!”  A little while later I heard, “The veil will soon come down.”  For some reason I didn’t want to listen anymore as I felt within me that He was going to say something else, so I began praying again so as not to listen, but again He spoke saying, “The veil will soon come down.  Then you will see wonders as you have never seen.”  Moments later He said, “I Am (slight pause) Yahweh”  All of this must have taken about 20 minutes (I was in the Adoration Chapel at the time), and was as if in slow motion.  The voice speaking to me was so loving and tender!  He spoke very slowly and clearly.  My body felt as thought I were no longer in the Chapel, but when someone came in the door I was aware of their presence.  After leaving the Chapel for Mass, I felt such incredible peace which I continued to feel throughout the day.  During Mass at the elevation of the Host, I saw a bright light come out of the back of the Host facing the Priest.  After communion, very bright lights were flashing in my head – mostly coming from the right side and many shadows appeared. 

Late the next night, my husband asked me for this message and while reading it said he didn’t understand what “The veil will soon come down” meant (which I also didn’t understand)  He had just prayed for an answer, and while we were watching EWTN there was a Bishop who was showing a picture of Pope Leo XIII.  In the picture there was a lady who was wearing a veil on her head.  Her hands were on the veil looking as though she were going to pull it down over her face.  The Bishop went on to explain that this represented a death approaching or that Rome or a civilization was coming to an end – or that there was going to be a new time approaching.  Lynne Bauer

Today during Adoration, I opened at random Vol. 22 of the Book of Heaven and read:

“Therefore, if you want to know what my Will does in all Creation, go around it It, and my Fiat, finding Its daughter in all created things, will unveil Itself and will tell you what It does toward the Divine Majesty and the call and the lessons It wants to give to the creatures.”

And again opening at random read the following:

“…do you know who tears these veils to let It come out to dominate in her own heart?  One who recognizes It in each one of my acts and invites It to come out.  She tears the veil of my works, she enters into them, she recognizes the noble Queen, and she prays It – she presses It to no longer remain hidden; and opening her heart to It, she invites It to enter. She tears the veil of my tears, of my Blood, of my pains, the veil of the Sacraments, the veil of my Humanity,  and giving her submission to It, she implores It to no longer remain veiled, but to make Itself known as Queen….”

Added 3/11/17:

June 30, 1901

“Grace strips the soul of everything, and makes of her humanity a veil with which to remain covered, in such a way that, as the veil is torn, one finds paradise in the soul who possesses Her. So, it is no wonder that true humility, obedience and the like are found in that soul, because there is nothing left of her but a simple veil, and one can see with clarity how it is all Grace that acts within her, that keeps all virtues in order for her, and makes her remain in continuous attitude toward God”.

May 1,1904

“My daughter, if you did otherwise you would lose the purity of eye, and as a veil would form before your sight, you would lose the good of seeing Me. In fact, the eye that delights only in the things of Heaven has the virtue of seeing Me, while one who delights in the things of the earth has the virtue of seeing the things of the earth, because his eye, in seeing them as different from what they are, sees them and loves them.”

October 17, 1904

 “My daughter, it is necessary to operate through the veil of the Humanity of Christ in order to find the Divinity – that is, to operate united with His Humanity, with the very Will of Christ, as if His Will and that of the soul were one, in order to please Him alone; operating with His very ways, directing everything to Christ, calling Him in everything the soul does, as if He Himself were to do her very actions. By doing this, the soul finds herself in continuous contact with God. In fact, for Christ, His Humanity was nothing other than a sort of veil that covered the Divinity; therefore, by operating in the midst of these veils, she already finds herself with God. One who does not want to operate through His Most Holy Humanity and wants to find Christ, is like one who wants to find the fruit without finding the skin – it is impossible.”

January 24, 1921 

“… the first Fiat was pronounced in Creation without the intervention of any creature. The second Fiat was pronounced in Redemption, and I wanted the intervention of the creature, and I chose my Mama as fulfillment of the second Fiat. Now, in fulfillment, I want to pronounce the third Fiat, and I want to pronounce It through you; I have chosen you for the fulfillment of the third Fiat. This third Fiat will bring to completion the glory and the honor of the Fiat of Creation, and will be confirmation and development of the fruits of the Fiat of Redemption. These three Fiats will veil the Most Holy Trinity upon earth, and I will have the ‘Fiat Voluntas Tua on earth as it is in Heaven’. These three Fiats will be inseparable - one will be life of the other; They will be one and triune, but distinct among Themselves. My Love wants it, my Glory demands it: having unleashed the first two Fiats from the womb of my creative power, It wants to unleash the third Fiat, for my Love can no longer contain It – and this, in order to complete the work that came out of Me; otherwise, the work of Creation and of Redemption would remain incomplete.”

“…as she advances in the practice of living in my Will this divine life keeps growing and expanding, to the point of filling the soul with all of this life, in such a way that nothing is left of her but a veil that covers it and hides it within itself.

June 15, 1933, Vol. 32

“Now if you call my Divine Will as life of your mind, as beat of your heart, as action of your hands and so on, you will form the life of the intelligence of my Will in your mind, the life of his actions in your hands, his divine step in your feet, in a way that all that which you will do, will serve as veil to the Divine life, that with your intention you have formed in the interior of your acts. But what is this intention? It is your will that appealing to mine, empties itself of itself, and forms the void in its act, in order to give the post to the action of my Will, and she making herself veil, hides even in the most ordinary and natural actions, the extraordinary action of a God, so much so that from outside one sees common actions, but if one takes away the veil of the human volition one finds enclosed the operative virtue of the divine action, and this forms the sanctity of the creature, not the diversity of actions, not the works that make noise, no, but common life, the necessary actions of life, of which the creature can do no less, they are all veils that can hide our Will, and make itself field, where God himself abases himself, in order to make himself (the) hidden actor of his divine actions. And as the body veils the soul, thus the will veils God, it hides him and forms through means of ordinary actions the chain of the extraordinary actions of God in her soul. Therefore be attentive, call in all that which you do my Will and He will never deny you his act, in order to form in you, for how much it is possible, the fullness of his sanctity.”

Nov. 24, 1935, Vol. 33

“Now with withdrawing his Life, all things and works of God remained, veiled for man. He himself, veiled the intelligence, the memory, the will, he remained as those poor unhappy dying ones, that covering the pupil of the eye with a thin veil, they don’t see clearly anymore the life of the light. My Divinity itself in descending from Heaven in earth, veiled itself with my Humanity. Oh! If creatures might possess as Life my Will, immediately they would have known Me, because He himself would have unvealed who I was, my Volition in her and that same Divine Volition in Me they would have immediately known, loved each other, they would have made crowds around Me, nor would they have been able to separate from Me, recognizing me under the likeness of their cast offs as Word Eternal, He who loved them so much, that he had dressed himself as one of them. So that I would have had no need to manifest myself, my Will residing in them, would have revealed Me, nor would I have been able to hide myself instead I had to tell them who I was, and how many did not believe Me? Therefore, even to such that my Will doesn’t reign in creatures everything is veiled, the Sacraments themselves, that more than a new Creation with so much love I left in my Church, are veiled for them.  How many surprises, how many beautiful secrets, and marvelous things a veiled pupil impedes one from understanding, from seeing, from tasting.  More so that this veil is the human volition that forms and impedes her from seeing the things that are in herself. Whence my Will reigning in creatures as life will take away this veil and all things will be revealed, and then they will see the caresses that we make them through means of created things, the kisses, the loving embraces, in every single created thing they will feel our ardent heartbeat that loves them, they will see in the Sacraments our Life flow, in order to give itself continually to them and they will feel the need of giving themselves to Us. This will be the great prodigy that my Divine Will will do, to break all the veils, to abound with unheard of graces, to take possession of souls as proper life, in a way that no one will be able to resist him and thus he will have his kingdom upon the earth.”

“each knowledge contains Life, if the veil of each knowledge is broken, they will find in it, as queen, the Life of my Will.  The more they take and do, the more the Life of my Will will grow in them.”

“…the more the veil that hides the Divinity will be transparent for them, they will know the Father more deeply and will glorify Him in all their actions...”

“Climb with me the holy mountain of grace and holiness, that you may be illuminated and transfigured by the glorious light of my Son Jesus.”  “As He was transfigured on Mount Tabor in the presence of the three Apostles, Peter, James and John, so also will He manifest Himself to you in the splendor of His Divine glory.” “ When the Word became flesh in my virginal womb, His divine splendor was completely veiled by the humanity He assumed.  Thus His divinity was hidden by His humanity.”  “When Jesus will return in His divine glory and appear to all humanity, each one will be called to undergo the same experience as Peter, James and John underwent on Mount Tabor, because Jesus will manifest Himself in His splendor, and His humanity will be completely transfigured in the most brilliant light of His divinity.

From the Diary of St. Faustina:

“When will the veils be lifted for me as well?  Although I see and feel to a certain extent how very thin is the veil separating me from the Lord, I long to see Him face to face; but let everything be done according to Your will.”

Memory, Intellect and Will

 Excerpts taken from Mother Angelica’s – Three Keys to the Kingdom and His Will and Mine

We are made in God’s Image:

Our Memory – resembles the Father – as the Father knows Himself, we know ourselves through our Memory.

Our Intellect (understanding) – resembles the Son – as the Son is the perfect Image of the Father, so our Understanding is the exterior image of what we remember.

Our Will – resembles the Spirit – As the Holy Spirit is the Love and Power that proceeds from the Father and the Son, so our Will is motivated by love and accomplishes what the Memory and Understanding give it to desire.

 LIVING IN HIS WILL

The first step in our efforts to glorify God is to know God's will. The second step, however, is the most important and that is: how do we live in that Will—how do we fulfill it—how do we accomplish that Will with joy?

To do this we must look at the life of Jesus. Jesus saw in every facet of His life, the Will of His Father. He seemed preoccupied with it.

Perhaps the most helpful comment Jesus made about the Father's Will was when He said it was His food. Though each person's state in life is different, each one's work and mission are different, the one common goal we should all desire is that of living in His Will—not just accomplishing it—but, like Jesus living in it. It should be the food and nourishment of our souls.

Life should not be a battle of Wills—His and mine. Life is a never ending call to love and an opportunity to respond with the same love—a call to sacrifice our dearest possession just as the Father sacrificed His dearest possession—an opportunity to say, "l love you, Father, more than myself." Love then, is the axis on which the Will revolves. If our love is selfish, our Will is geared toward self-gratification. If our love is unselfish, our Will is directed toward the Glory of God and the good of our neighbor.

We cannot separate love from the Will, for love decides what direction the Will takes. Even those who reject God possess a kind of love—a love for evil—evil deeds—evil company. Eventually, an eternal hatred is born from this love for evil. Pride is a misdirected love and if unconquered during life, turns inward with such force, its back is turned away from God forever. This is the great sin which is difficult to repent of— not admitting error and not accepting dependence on God.

 

To Change as We Share His Nature

 MEMORY – To keep our Memory free of resentment, to substitute good emotions for bad emotions, to forgive and forget, to realize our own weaknesses.

UNDERSTANDING – To admit our limitations, to realize His Transcendence, to accept His Revelations, to think as He thinks.

WILL – To have strength to do His Will, to see things as He sees them, to prefer Him to ourselves, to do everything for Him.

Uniformity With God’s Will – St. Alphonsus de Liguori

Perfection is founded entirely on the love of God: “Charity is the bond of perfection.” (Col. 3:14); and perfect love of God means the complete union of our will with God’s. The principal effect of love is so to unite the wills of those who love each other as to make them will the same things.  It follows then, that the more one unites His will with the Divine Will, the greater will be his love of God.  Mortifications, meditation, receiving Holy Communion, acts of fraternal charity are all certainly pleasing to God – but only when they are in accordance with God’s Will, He not only finds no pleasure in them, but He even rejects them utterly and punishes them.

From the Book of Heaven, (Luisa Piccarreta) Sept. 26, 1904:

“…the greatest good that the creature has received from God was being created in His image and likeness, and endowed with three powers – intellect, memory and will – and there is no sin that the creature commits in which these three powers do not concur. So, she stains and disfigures the beautiful divine image that she contains within herself, using the gift to offend the Giver.

 

O, Father, may your Will, made known in Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit, reign in us through Mary!

Holy Spirit, Mother Mary, unite us to Jesus, that together we may live in the Bosom of the Father – in the Heart of the Trinity – in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
