Abandonment to the Will of God

ABANDONMENT TO THE WILL OF GOD

Volume 8, June 23, 1907 - 

“Daughter, the most beautiful act, and most pleasing to Me, is the abandonment in my Will – but so great, that the soul would remember no more that her being exists; rather, everything for her is Divine Will. Even though sorrow for one’s own sins is good and praiseworthy, yet, it does not destroy one’s own being; while abandoning oneself completely in my Will destroys one’s own being, and makes one reacquire the Divine Being. Therefore, by abandoning herself in my Will, the soul gives Me more honor, because she gives Me everything I can demand of the creature, reacquiring, in Me, that which had come out of Me. And the soul comes to reacquire that which alone she should reacquire – that is, she reacquires God, with all the goods that God possesses. However, as long as the soul remains completely in the Will of God, she reacquires God; but as she goes out of my Will, she reacquires her own being, with all the evils of the corrupted nature.”

Vol. 12, August 6, 1919 –
“Abandonment in Me is the image of two torrents, each one unloading itself into the other with such impetus, that their waters blend together; and forming gigantic waves of water, they arrive at even touching Heaven, to the point that the bed of those torrents remains dry. And the roaring of those waters, their murmuring, is so sweet and harmonious, that Heaven, in seeing Itself touched by those waters, feels honored and shines with new beauty; and the Saints, in chorus, say: ‘This is the sweet sound and the harmony that enraptures, of a soul who has abandoned herself in God. How beautiful it is - how beautiful it is!’


Another day He told me: “What do you fear? Abandon yourself in Me, and you will remain surrounded by Me as though within a circle, in such a way that if enemies, occasions or dangers come, they will have to deal with Me, not with you; and I will answer for you. True abandonment in Me is rest for the soul and work for Me; and if the soul is restless, it means that she is not abandoned in Me - a just pain restlessness is, for one who wants to live of her own, doing great wrong to Me, and great harm to herself.”


Volume 16, Feb. 10, 1924 –
“…on the abandonment of living in my Will: if the soul did not live completely abandoned in my Will, she would be like someone who lived in a sumptuous palace, and now leaned out of a window, now out of a balcony, now went down to the main door. So, only seldom or in passing does the poor one pass through some of the rooms, and therefore she knows little of the regime, of the work that is needed, of the goods which are there present, of what she can take, and of what she can give. Who knows how many goods are in there, and she knows little about it, therefore she does not love that palace as she should love it, nor does she esteem it as it deserves.


Now, for the soul who lives in my Will and is not completely abandoned in It, self reflections, cares for herself, fears, disturbances, are nothing other than windows, balconies and main doors that she forms in my Will; and by going out very often, she is forced to see and feel the miseries of human life. And since the miseries are her own property, while the riches of my Will are mine, she becomes more attached to the miseries than to the riches, and so she will not come to love, nor will she enjoy what it means to live in my Will. And having formed the main door, one day or another she will go away to live in the miserable hovel of her own will. See, then, how complete abandonment in Me is necessary in order to live in my Will. My Will does not need the miseries of the human will; It wants the creature to live together with It - beautiful, just as It delivered her from Its womb, without the miserable provision that she has formed for herself in the exile of life. Otherwise, there would be disparity, which would bring sorrow to my Will and unhappiness to the human will.

Volume 35, Mar. 6, 1938 –
“My daughter, when the creature abandons herself in our Will, our satisfaction is so great that she pours into Us, and We pour into her, giving her our new Life, new love, new sanctity and new knowledge of our Supreme Being. When the creature abandons herself in our Divine Volition, We can make the greatest prodigies and the most surprising graces in her, since our own Will will receive and deposit what We want to give to the creature. By abandoning herself in our Will, she storms Heaven, and her empire is such that she imposes herself over our Divine Being, enclosing It within her littleness; while she, triumphant, encloses herself within our Divine Womb.


The Heavens are amazed, and the Angels and the Saints remain ecstatic; all feel a new life flowing within themselves, by virtue of the act of abandonment of the creature, while still a pilgrim. And finding her abandoned in our FIAT, We find that We can do whatever We want - she lends herself completely to our Power. So We begin the work, and form in the soul many little fountains of Love, Goodness, Sanctity, Mercy, and so on. In this way, when our Love wants to love, We set those little fountains of Love in motion with our omnipotent breath, and she loves Us, letting so much love overflow from the fount, as to float the entire Celestial Court. When We want to use Goodness, Mercy or Grace, We set these founts in motion, and the earth remains floated by our Goodness and Mercy - and some are converted, some receive graces.

Volume 36, June 12, 1938 –
"My good daughter, I love creatures very much, but I feel more captured, won and attracted to love the soul that lives abandoned in my arms, as if she had nobody in the world - only her Jesus - trusting me and me only. If she is offered other kinds of support she refuses them, to have only the support of her Jesus who holds her tightly in His arms, defending her and taking care of her completely. These are the souls that I love very, very much - my favorite ones. I surround them with my divine power. I build around them the wall of my love. Woe to those who touch them! My love will know how to defend them and my power will know how to topple those who want to displease her. 


The souls abandoned in me, live only of me and I of them, as if we lived on one breath and one love. If some human support arises, they look into it to see if I'm there, and if I'm not, they run away to find shelter in my arms. Only these are the souls I can really trust, confide to them my secrets, and lean on them as well. I am certain that they do not get out of my Will because they are always with me. The one who doesn't live abandoned in me, instead, runs away from my arms; she does not refuse human supports. Rather, she gets a taste for them. She is inconstant. One moment she looks for me, another, for creatures. She is forced to feel the disillusion from creatures which opens deep gashes in the soul, and she feels the earth in her heart - my Will as Life, far away from herself. 

Oh, if everyone abandoned themselves in my arms! The earth would disappear for them, they wouldn't pay attention to anybody, I would be enough for all. I love, so much, the one who lives abandoned in my arms that I show her the greatest excesses of my love, my love jokes, my caresses. I reach the point of inventing new love tricks to keep them busy and centered in my love. Therefore, live abandoned in my arms and in everything you will find your Jesus defending, helping and sustaining you."


Volume 13, Oct. 18, 1921 - “…disturbance is nothing other than lack of abandonment in Me, and I want you so abandoned in my arms, that you must have not even one thought of yourself; and I will take care of everything.

 “How does one come to that degree of trust?  By entrusting to Me very little things, day by day, as they arise, and by leaving them to Me. This was also the wisdom of My priest Don Dolindo.  ‘Jesus’, he used to say to Me, ‘you take care of this.’ And then he went his way lighthearted and confident that I would honor the confidence he placed in Me.” 


Jesus, I abandon myself to you. You take care of everything!

Update - The New Heavens and the New Earth

Wed. 10/16/96 - Adoration Chapel

I asked Our Lord for guidance in knowing how He wanted me to use the gifts He has given to me. He spoke saying, "My little one, do you not know that it was I who called you here (to the Adoration chapel)? Pray for your brothers and sisters. I need more prayers and sacrifices - I am losing so many souls. The darkness will become even darker before the Light comes. You will be as lambs among wolves." I told Him I was sorry for missing Mass this morning (I had already asked Him earlier in the morning to forgive me) - He said, "Never look back My child, only pray!  The Holy Spirit had inspired a prayer in me the last two days something like this: Come Lord and water this parched desert with your heavenly dew. Let the fountains of water flow from you heart as rivers across the dry land watering it so that the seeds sprout and grow into beautiful flowers nourished by the Sun. 

I immediately understood that the New Heavens and New Earth spoken of in Revelations was to come into our own hearts, and that our hearts would become as flowers springing up and growing into blossoms nourished by the Sun. When I got home from the chapel and was reading "True Life in God". Jesus said, "The New Heavens and the New Earth will be when I will set My throne in you." "Allow my Holy Spirit to come to you as a roaring fire and purify you by burning all the dry plants (bad habits, sins) remaining in you and replace them with celestial seedlings and delightful vineyards," "winter is past, and the flowers (virtues) appear on your soil - the vineyard is forming its first flowers giving out their fragrance - this is Our Paradise.. "all the fruits are the virtues that are agreeable in Our Eyes...

THE NEW HEAVENS AND THE NEW EARTH

See, because Creation has not moved from my Will in anything, the sky is always azure and starry, the sun is full of light and heat. The whole Creation is in perfect harmony; one thing is support of the other. It is always beautiful, fresh, young; It never grows old, nor does It lose one shadow of Its beauty; on the contrary, It seems that each day It rises as more majestic, giving a sweet enchantment to all creatures. So would man have been, had he not withdrawn from my Will; and so are the souls who live in my Will: they are the new heavens, the new suns, the new earth - all flowery; even more, more varied with beauty and enchantment.”   Book of Heaven, Vol. 13, May 1, 1921

The Fiat issued the Creation, and from the Fiat It receives continuous preservation. If my Fiat withdrew, It would resolve into nothing; and if It remains intact, without changing, it is because It has not gone out of the Fiat. However, I have not repeated a new Fiat, otherwise other new heavens, other new suns and stars would come out, but one different from the other. On the other hand, in the soul who lives in my Will it is not just one Fiat, but repeated Fiats. Therefore, as the soul operates in my Will, I repeat the Fiat, and new heavens are extended, new suns and stars; and since the soul contains an intelligence, these heavens are new heavens of love, of glory, of light, of adoration, of knowledge - forming such variety of beauty that I Myself remain enraptured. The whole of Heaven, the Saints, the Angels, cannot detach their gaze from her, because while they are looking at the variety of the heavens that she contains, other new ones extend, one more beautiful than the other. They see the Celestial Fatherland copied in the soul who lives in my Will - the multiplicity of the new things multiply to the infinite.  Book of Heaven, Vol. 13, Aug. 20, 1921

 “My daughter, what is not enjoyed today, will be enjoyed tomorrow; what now seems darkness because it finds blind minds, will turn into Sun tomorrow for those who have eyes. How much good they will do. So, let's keep doing what we've done. Let's do what is needed from our side so that nothing may be missing of help, light, good and surprising truth to make my Will known and to make It reign. I will use every means of love, grace and chastisement. I will touch all sides of creatures in order to have my Will reign. CCC #671 Though already present in his Church, Christ's reign is nevertheless yet to be fulfilled "with power and great glory" by the King's return to earth. This reign is still under attack by the evil powers, even though they have been defeated definitively by Christ's Passover. Until everything is subject to him, "until there be realized new heavens and a new earth in which justice dwells, the pilgrim Church, in her sacraments and institutions, which belong to this present age, carries the mark of this world which will pass, and she herself takes her place among the creatures which groan and travail yet and await the revelation of the sons of God." That is why Christians pray, above all in the Eucharist, to hasten Christ's return by saying to him: Marana tha! "Our Lord, come!"

The Eucharistic Reign of Christ

Because, in the Eucharist, Jesus Christ is really present, He remains ever with you, and this presence of His Will become increasingly stronger, will shine over the earth like a sun and will mark the beginning of a new era.   The coming of the glorious reign of Christ will coincide with the greatest splendor of the Eucharist.  Christ will restore His glorious reign in the universal triumph of His Eucharistic reign, which will unfold in all its power and will have the capacity to change hearts, souls, individuals, families, society and the very structure of the world. 

When He will have restored His Eucharistic reign, Jesus will lead you to take joy in this habitual presence of His, which you will feel in a new and extraordinary way and which will lead you to the experience of a second, renewed and more beautiful earthly paradise.

In fact, the coming of the glorious reign of Christ will coincide with the greatest splendor of His Eucharistic reign among you.  The Eucharistic Jesus will release all His power of love, which will transform souls, the Church and all humanity.

The glorious reign of Christ will be established after the complete defeat of satan and all the spirits of evil, and the destruction of satans diabolical power.  Thus he will be bound and cast into hell, and the gates of the abyss will be shut so that he can no longer get out to harm the world.  And Christ will reign in the world.

The glorious reign of Christ will coincide with the triumph of the Eucharistic reign of Jesus, because in a purified and sanctified world, completely renewed by love, Jesus will be made manifest, above all in the mystery of His Eucharistic presence.

The Eucharist will be the source from which will burst forth all His divine power, and it will become the new sun, which will shed its bright rays in hearts and souls, and then in the life of individuals, families, and nations, making of all one single flock, docile and meek, whose sole shepherd will be Jesus.


Don’t you know that Redemption is preparation for the Kingdom of the Divine Will? And the Sacred Heart of Jesus is nothing other than the immense Reign of His Will. It is not the Heart that dominates; it is the Divine Will that dominates His Divine Heart. Poor Heart, if it did not have a Will to dominate it, it would be good at nothing. If the will is good, the heart is good; if the will is holy, the heart is holy. If our will gives place to the Divine, letting It raise Its throne in our will, the heart acquires the divine qualities by grace. Therefore, both in the Divine and in the human order, it is always the will that has the first place, the prime act, it’s rule. The heart and all the rest are in the secondary order...

Therefore, to say that the Heart reigns, if the Divine Will does not reign, is absurd. They can be called devotions, pious practices...; if the Divine Will does not reign, the Kingdom does not exist. It exists in Heaven, but has no place on earth. However, the Holy Church, organ and messenger of the Supreme Fiat, through the Sacred Heart, through the Celestial Mama, beseeches the Kingdom of the Divine Will. She does not say it with words, but says it with facts. The Divine Volition is the King – His Heart, His wounds, His precious Blood, the sweet Queen, form the ministers that surround the King, and through them beseech the Kingdom of the Divine Will in souls.

Continuing in my usual state and being very afflicted because of the privations of Jesus, after much suffering He came, making Himself seen in all my poor being. It seemed to me as if I were the garment of Jesus. Then, breaking the silence, He told me: “My daughter, you too can form the hosts and consecrate them mystically. Do you see the garments that cover Me in the Sacrament? They are the accidents of the bread from which the Host is made. The Life which exists in this Host is my Body, my Blood and my Divinity. My supreme Will is the act which contains this Life. This Will develops the Love, the reparation, the immolation and all the rest that I do in the Sacrament. The Sacrament never moves one point from my Volition. There is nothing that comes from Me which is not led by my Volition.

Here is how you too can form the Host. The host is material and totally human; you too have a material body and a human will. This body and will of yours – as long as you keep them pure, upright and far away from any shadow of sin – are the accidents, the veil in order to consecrate Me and make Me live hidden in you. But this is not enough; it would be like the host without consecration – my Life is needed. My Life is composed of Sanctity, Love, Wisdom, Power, etc., but the engine of all is my Will. So, after you prepared the host, you have to make your will die in it; you must cook it well, so that it may not rise again. Then you have to let my Will permeate all your being; and my Will, which contains all my Life, will form the true and perfect consecration. Therefore, there will be no more life for human thought, but only for the thought of my Volition, which will consecrate my Wisdom inside your mind; no more life for what is human – weakness, inconstancy, because my Will will form the consecration of the Divine Life, of fortitude, of firmness, and of all that I am. So, each time you let your will flow into Mine, I will renew the consecration of your desires, and of all that you are and that you can do. I will continue my Life in you as if in a living Host – not a dead one, like the hosts without Me.

But this is not all. In the consecrated Hosts, in the pyxes, in the Tabernacles, everything is dead – mute; not the sensitivity of a heartbeat, not a rush of love which may return my great love. If I didn’t wait for hearts in order to give Myself to them, I would be very unhappy; I would remain defrauded of my Love, and my Sacramental Life would remain without purpose. Though I tolerate this in the Tabernacles, I would not tolerate it in living Hosts. In the Sacrament I want to be fed with my own food: the soul will take possession of my Will, my Love, my prayers, my reparations, my sacrifices; she will give them to Me as if they were her own things, and I will nourish Myself. The soul will unite with Me, pricking up her ears in order to hear what I am doing, and to do it together with Me; so, as she keeps repeating my own acts, she will give Me her food, and I will be happy. Only in these living Hosts will I find the compensation for my loneliness, my starvation and all that I suffer in the Tabernacles.”

Having received my Jesus, I was thinking about how I could give back love for love. It was impossible for me to be able to shrink and become smaller, like Jesus does in the Host for love of me. This is not in my power, as it is in the power of Jesus. And my beloved Jesus told my:
“My daughter, if you cannot contract all of yourself within the brief circle of a Host for love of Me, you can very well contract all yourself within my Will, to be able to make of yourself the Host in my Will. For every act you will do in my Will, you will make a Host for Me; and I will feed Myself from you, as you do from Me. What forms the Host? My own Life in it. And what is my Will? Isn’t It my whole Life? Therefore, you too can become Host for love of Me: the more acts you will do in my Will, the more Hosts you will form to give back to Me love for love.”

Vol. 20 -   “On the other hand, when I am in the soul who serves Me as living species, I and she develop life together; our hearts beat with a single beat; and, if I see her disposed, I communicate to her my pains and I continue in her my Passion.  I can say that from the sacramental species I pass into living species to continue my Life upon the earth, not alone, but together with her.  Therefore, my daughter, when I find a heart which loves Me and gives me sweet companionship, giving Me liberty to do what I wish, I reach to excesses; I disregard everything; I give so much that the poor creature feels herself drowned by my Love, by my Grace.  Then, my Sacramental Life no longer remains sterile, no, but reproduces and bilocates itself, continuing then to remain always in her.  This soul becomes my conqueror who administers to this poor Beggar of love her life and says to Me:  ‘My Love, Your turn with pains have ended; now is my turn; therefore, quit begging and let me suffer in your place.’

          “Oh, how content I am then!… My Sacramental Life remains in its place of honor, because it reproduces another of its lives in the creature.

           “Therefore, I want you always with Me, living life together; you make yours my Life and I will make mine yours.”

Book of Heaven,  April 20, 1923 - Therefore, to you is it given to tear these veils*, to knock down these barricades, and to make of all human acts as though one single act in the power of my Will, engulfing them all, and bringing them to the feet of my Celestial Father, as though kissed and sealed by His very Will; so that, in seeing that one creature has covered the whole human family with His Will, attracted, pleased, He may through her let His Will descend upon earth, making It reign on earth as It does in Heaven.”

While praying with my eyes closed, a bright light filled my vision. From the light I saw what appeared to be a very large chair with a high back and side arms. It was as though looking through a fog of light. I then could see, very vaguely, an outline of a person engulfed in the light. The light was very bright and I could not see clearly at all. At first I thought my mind conjured up a great sight! Then I began to think of Our Heavenly Father and fell into a prayer to Him. I then said to Him, "How can people not know that you are their Father, our Daddy. How can they think of you as being anything other than that (thinking about all the people that call Him Father-Mother, not recognizing Him as their Father). " I still thought that this was my imagination as I continued seeing this vision before me. It startled me to hear Him say to me, "Love them as I love them."  I then thought that this was possibly satan trying to trick me so I immediately prayed to cast out any evil spirits, but it just stayed there before my eyes. A little while later He said,  “The veil will soon come down.”  For some reason I didn't want to listen as I could feel that He was going to say something else, so I began praying again. He again said, "The veil will soon come down. Then you will see wonders as you have never seen. " Moments later He said, “I Am (slight pause) Yahweh. "

All of this must have taken about 20 minutes. It was as if in slow motion. His voice was so very tender and loving! He spoke very slowly and clearly. My body felt as though I were no longer there in the chapel, but when someone came in the door, I was aware of their presence After I left the chapel, throughout Mass and for some time later, my body felt "numb". I have felt the peace of Our Lord before, but never anything quite like this. During Mass at the elevation of the Host, I saw a light come out of the back of the Host, facing Fr. Art. After communion, extremely bright lights were flashing in my head mostly coming from the right side and many shadows appeared.      

The following day, (3/29/95 Late PM) my husband had asked me for this message (above) and while reading it said he didn't understand what "The veil will soon come down" meant. We had just prayed for an answer when a Bishop speaking on EWTN showed a picture of Pope Leo NIII. There was a lady in the picture who was wearing a veil on her head - her hands were on the veil looking as though she were going to pull it down over her face. The Bishop went on to explain that this represented a death approaching or that Rome or a civilization was coming to an end, or that there was going to be a new time approaching.

Feb. 7, 2003, Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament: After receiving Holy Communion, I saw within my soul Jesus sitting upon my heart as if on a Throne, His back toward me, looking outward with something in His right hand like a staff (or a rod) but without a hook (a few days after this I was reading something about Jesus holding a scepter in His hand and thought that perhaps this is what I saw).  He spoke interiorly to me saying, It is from here I will reign!”  Jesus then turned into a little child but remained sitting upon my heart still holding the staff.  Jesus then said to me, “I will reign in those who love me.”

Mar. 11, 2013 LB:  This morning while reading the Book of Heaven, opening it at random as I usually do, I opened to Volume 12, Oct. 19, 1918 where Jesus was speaking about a “general uproar” everywhere – How He will “renew the world with sword, with fire and with water, with sudden deaths and contagious diseases.”  Then He added, “I will make new things.”  I thought about a vision given to me years ago of a field of ash – there was nothing, no trees, buildings, nothing but a ground of what seemed to be ash and a sea of people all looking in the same direction towards the horizon where a brilliant cross appeared followed by a large ball of fire – not the sun (this is the only way I can explain it) which also appeared on the horizon causing everyone to prostrate themselves to the ground.  (this is explained in my notes) Is this what will be before He makes all things new?

 I also thought about what He had said to me years ago when all our belongings were ruined*, and wondered if this all related to each other, and that He will renew all things after the ruin.  As I had not finished my Liturgy of the Hours this morning prior to Mass, I went to the Adoration Chapel to finish it.  Having read all but the Morning Prayer Intercessions, I began reading and read, “Help us to work with you in making all things new in Christ.”
*Regarding what happened years ago when our belongings were ruined:  Several years ago while living in N. Palm Bch. FL, we were moving to a town just to the north and into a new home.  When our furniture arrived from the moving company, we noticed that every piece of furniture and all boxes were moldy and mildew.  It was either that evening or the next that we were having a Divine Will meeting at our new house.  God provided for us as we did have a metal banquet table and a few folding chairs, and went to a local store where we were able to buy beds (even our beds were ruined), and they were even on sale.  Even though all of this happened, I still felt great peace and at one time during the day I heard within my interior, “I make all things new!”  I never bothered about writing this down as I didn’t think it important – until after the above.

Fight for the Kingdom!

It is only when our dear Lord chooses to reveal hidden mysteries from us that we receive understanding, even though we may have read something many times over and did not see it with the eyes of our souls but only the eyes of our bodies.  It was only this morning  while contemplating what I had recently written from Volume 20, that I in a tiny way understand what Jesus had showed me and told me in the past, which I will try to relate to you now.

(From my notes) On Nov. 1, 2013, I was in prayer just before Mass began and I experienced something that is impossible to explain, but I will just say what I saw interiorly:  I saw someone before me and I was trying to pull something out of his hands.  It seemed as though I were fighting with this person for whatever it was that I had been trying to get, and that I became very strong in fighting for it.  After receiving Holy Communion, I saw the entire earth in my hands and I offered it to God, loving Him and thanking Him for myself and for all, for all that He has given to us in the earth and in the entire universe.  I was praying the rounds of Creation. 

What I now understand from this experience on Nov. 1 is exactly what Jesus tells us in Vol. 20 – that we must fight Him for this Kingdom to come on earth.

Jesus tells Luisa in Vol. 20 that we must “fight in order to win the Kingdom of the Supreme Fiat” and that it is “the holiest fight that can exist; it is the most just and rightful battle that can be fought.”  He goes on to tell her, “I fight when I manifest to you the knowledges about my eternal Fiat.  So, each saying, each knowledge, each simile about It is one fight and one battle that I make with you in order to win your will, put it at its place, and call it, almost by dint of fighting, into the order of the Kingdom of my Divine Will…”  “Each one of your acts done in my Will is a fight that you make with Me.  In each round you do through all created things, to unite yourself to all the acts my Will does in all Creation, you call all Creation to wage battle in order to win my Kingdom. “

Now I will try to relate another aspect of what I seem to now understand from something that I experienced back  on Feb. 15, 2009 (from my notes):

Just before Mass, I felt very strongly the presence of God and understood something interiorly which I can only explain as like Moses!”.  It is impossible for me to explain in words what happened.  That same day while I was sorting out a pile of papers, I came across a paper I had written on the “third watch” which I had forgotten I even wrote.  The very next day, Saturday, I was praying my Liturgy of the Hours, and read, Those who had conquered the beast were singing the song of Moses, God’s servant (Rev.15:2-3), which was followed up by the Canticle of Moses (Exodus 15:1-4a, 8-13, 17-18).

Necessary conditions to obtain the Kingdom



March 20, 1932 Three necessary conditions in order to obtain the Kingdom of the Divine Will. How everyone lives in the Divine Will. Different ways of living.

Luisa: I was thinking of the Divine Will and I said to myself: “If Our Lord so very loves to make known a Volition so holy and wants that he reign in the midst of creatures, why then does he want that one prays in order to obtain it? While one time (that) he wants it, he can also give it without so much (as anyone) praying for it.”  And my sweet Jesus surprising me said to me:

“My daughter, knowing my Divine Will is the greatest thing that I can give and the creature can receive.  And his reigning is the confirmation of his great gift, it is the carrying out of his known Will. Hence it is necessary to ask for him. With asking for him [the creature] disposes herself for it, she forms in herself the Palace where to receive him. With asking for him she acquires the love in order to love him, she acquires the dowries of sacrifice that is needed in order to possess him, and as she asks, the human volition loses its ground, is weakened, loses strength and is disposed to receive the dominion of the Supreme Volition. And God seeing himself prayed to disposes himself to give it. The dispositions are needed on both parts in order to give our celestial gifts. How many gifts we want to give, but because we are not asked we retain them in ourselves, waiting to give them when we will be asked. Asking is as if it might open the commerce between the Creator and the creature. If she does not ask, the commerce is closed and our celestial gifts don’t descend in order to put themselves in circuit upon the face of the earth. Hence, (the) first indispensable necessities in order to obtain the Kingdom of the Divine Will is to ask for it with incessant prayers, because as one prays, thus the little letters arrive to us, now with solicitudes, now with supplications, now with accord that want to have to do with our Will, until the last letter will arrive with the final accord

“(The) second necessities, more indispensable than the first in order to obtain this kingdom: it is necessary to know what can be had. Who can ever think of a good, desire it, love it, if she doesn’t know that she can obtain it? No one. If the ancients might not have known that the future Redeemer should come, no one would have given thought nor [would they have] prayed, nor hoped for salvation, because the salvation, the sanctity of those times remained fixed, centralized in the future Celestial Savior. Outside of this there was no hope for some good. To know that one can have a good forms the substance, the life, the food of that good in the creature. Behold therefore the so many knowledges on my Will that I have manifested to you, so that it can be known that they can have the Kingdom of my Will. When one knows that a good can be had, the arts are used, the industries, and the means are undertaken in order to obtain the intent.

“The third necessary means is to know that God wants to give this kingdom. This casts the foundations, the certain hope in order to obtain it, and forms the last preparations in order to receive the Kingdom of my Divine Will. [For] a good that one wants and longs for, to know that who can give it, already wants to give it, it can be called the last blow of grace and the final act in order to obtain that which one wants. In fact if I might not have manifested to you that I can give and want to give my Divine Will dominating and reigning in the midst of creatures, you would have been indifferent like all the others for a good so great. So that your interest, your prayers have been effects and parts of that which you have known. And I myself when I came upon the earth, [in] the thirty years of my hidden life it can be said that I apparently didn’t do good to anyone, nor did even one know me. I remained in the midst of them unobserved, the whole good was developed between me and the Celestial Father, my Celestial Mother and dear St. Joseph, because they knew who I was; all the others [knew] nothing. Instead when I went out from my hideaway and openly made myself known saying that I was really the promised Messiah, their Redeemer and Savior, and although with having made myself known I attracted on me calumnies, persecutions, contradictions, anger, hatred of the Hebrews and the Passion and death itself. All these evils that as copious rain rained on me had the beginning in making myself known, I affirmed that which I really was, the Word Eternal descended from heaven in order to save them. So very true that even when I (was) in the house of Nazareth, not knowing who I was, no one said anything of me, nor did they slander me nor did they hurt me. As I revealed myself all the evils fell on me. But this was necessary to make myself known, otherwise I would have left again for heaven without completing the purpose for which I came upon the earth. Instead with making myself known, in spite that I attracted so many evils, in the midst of this abyss of evils I formed my Apostles, announced the Gospel, worked prodigies, and my knowledge instigated my enemies to make me suffer so many sufferings, even to give me death on the cross. But I obtained my intent, that so many would know me in the midst of so many that didn’t want to know me, and to complete my Redemption. I knew that, with making myself known, the perfidy and pride of the Hebrews would have done so much. But it was necessary to make myself known, because a person, a good if it isn’t known it is not bearer of life nor of good. The good, the truths not known remain impeded in itself without fecundity, as so many sterile mothers that finish with their generation.

“You see therefore how necessary it is that one knows that I can give the Kingdom of my Will and that I want to give it. I can say that (there) enters the same necessity as that to make known that I was the Son of God that I came upon the earth. And it’s also true that many with knowing this will repeat that which they did to me when I made known who I was; the longed for Messiah; calumnies, contradictions, doubts, suspicions, contempts, as already they have done [there was] hardly the beginning of the printing that mentioned to make my Divine Will known. But this says nothing, and the good possesses the strength to wound evil, creatures, hell, feeling themselves wounded they are armed against the good and would like to annihilate the good, she or he who wants to make the good known. But in spite of all that which they have wanted at the first beginning, on his wanting the knowledge of my Will to be born, and that he wants to reign, they have as suffocated him. Yet he has made his first steps, and that which some didn’t believe, others have believed. The first steps will call the second, the third, and so on, in spite that there won’t lack those people who will arouse contradictions and doubts, but it is of absolute necessity that one knows my Divine Will, that I can give him and I want to give him. These are the conditions that without them God can not give that which he wants to give, and the creature can not receive him. Therefore pray, and do not give back in making my Divine Will known. The time, the circumstances, the things, the persons change, they are not always those. Therefore that which one doesn’t obtain today can be obtained tomorrow, however to the confusion of whom has suffocated a good so great. But my Will will triumph and will have his kingdom upon the earth.”

Whence I continued to think of the Divine Will and I abandoned all of myself in his divine arms, and my beloved Jesus added:
“Good daughter, you should know that my Divine Will possesses and contains inside of himself everything; all the joys, all the beauties, from Him everything goes forth, and without losing anything, he contains everything in himself. It can be said that he carries everyone and everything in his immense womb of light. So that everyone lives in Him, with this difference, that one who with all her will wants to live in Him and lets herself be subjugated by his dominion, lives as daughter, and as daughter becomes constituted heiress of joys, of beauties, of the goods of her Mother/(the Divine Will), in a way that this Divine Mother is all intent to embellish, to enrich and to make her daughter rejoice. Instead one who wants to live of human will and does not let herself be subjugated by his dominion she lives in this Holy Will, but lives not as daughter but as stranger, and all the joys are converted for the creature into bitterness, the riches into poverty, beauties into ugliness; because living as stranger she lives as set apart from the goods that my Divine Will possesses, and justly merits that she possesses nothing of the good. Her human volition that subjugates her gives her that which it holds: passions, weaknesses, miseries. Nothing escapes from my Divine Will, not even hell, and since they have not loved him in life, they have lived as limbs detached from Him, but always inside, not outside. Now in those dismal prisons joys, happiness, the beatitudes of my Divine Will are converted into sufferings and into eternal torments. Therefore the living in my Will is not new, as some believe. Everyone lives in Him, good and bad. If one wants to say new, it is the way of living. 

“One who recognizes him as continuous act of life, who gives him the dominion in all her acts, because the living in Him is the sanctity of every instant that the creature receives. It can be said that she grows continually in sanctity, but sanctity fed by my Will, grown together with Him. So that she feels my Will for life more than her own life. Instead one who doesn’t live in Him, in spite that she remains there within she doesn’t recognize him in her every act, and lives as if she might live distant from Him and might not receive the continuous act of his life, in spite that she receives it. In this way the sanctity of living in my Volition is not formed, but at the most the sanctity of circumstances. So that they remember my Divine Will when oppressed by a need, a sorrow, a cross, [then] he hears them exclaim: ‘The Divine Will be done.’ And in all the rest of their life, my Will where is he? Isn’t he already with them contributing to all their acts? He remained, but they didn’t recognize him. It happens as to a mother that lives in her palace, who has given forth many children to the light. Some of these always remain around the mother, whom infuses in the children her noble ways, she feeds them with delicate and good foods, dresses them with decent attire, entrusts her secrets to them and makes them heirs of her goods. One can say that the mother lives in the children and the children in the mother. They felicitate each other and love with inseparable love. The other children live in the palace of the mother, but are not always around her. They find pleasure in living in the distant rooms from those of the mother, hence they don’t learn her noble ways, they don’t dress with decency. The foods that they take do them more evil than good, and if sometimes they go to the mother it is not for love, but for need. Whence the great difference between the one and the other of these children; in spite of all this the one and the other live in the palace of the mother. Thus everyone lives in my Will, but only one who wants to, lives of Him, lives in Him as child with her Mother. All the others in spite that they live in Him, they don’t even know him, others live as strangers, others know him in order to offend him.”

The prevenient act and the actual act.

I was thinking to myself: “If one act done in His Will is so great, how many of them, alas! do I not let escape?’ And my sweet Jesus, moving in my interior, told me: “My daughter, there is the prevenient act and the actual act. The prevenient act is when the soul, from the first rising of the day, fixes her will in Mine, and decides and confirms that she wants to live and operate only in my Volition. She anticipates all of her acts and makes them all flow in my Will. With the prevenient will, my Sun rises, my Life remains duplicated in all her acts, as though in one single act; and this makes up for the actual act.

However, the prevenient act can be shaded, obscured, by the human ways, by one’s own will, by self-esteem, by negligence and other things, which are like clouds before the sun, that render its light less vivid on the face of the earth. On the other hand, the actual act is not subject to clouds; on the contrary, it has the virtue of dispelling the clouds, if there are any, and it makes many other suns rise, in which my Life is duplicated, with such vividness of light and heat as to form as many new suns, one more beautiful than the other. However, both of them are necessary: the prevenient act gives the hand, disposes and forms the plane for the actual act; the actual act preserves and expands the plane of the prevenient.”

Vol. 24, July 29, 1928 - Meaning of the blessing and of the sign of the Cross.

“My daughter, I bless you from the Heart in your soul and body - may my blessing be the confirmation of Our likeness in you. My blessing confirms in you what the Divinity did in the creation of man – that is, Our likeness. You must know that during the course of my mortal life, in everything I did, I always blessed. It was the first act of Creation that I called back over the creatures, and in order to confirm it, in blessing I invoked the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit. The very Sacraments are animated by these blessings and invocations. So, while calling the likeness to the Creator within souls, my blessing calls also the life of my Divine Will, that It may return as in the beginning of Creation to reign in souls, because my Will alone has the virtue of painting in them, vividly, the likeness of the One who created them, of making it known and of preserving it with its divine live colors. See then, what blessing means: confirmation of Our creative work, because the work We do once is so filled with wisdom, with sublimity and with beauty, that We love to repeat it always. And if Our blessing is nothing other than the sigh of Our Heart to see Our image restored in the creatures, as well as the repetition of Our confirmation of what We want to do, the sign of the Cross that the Church teaches to the faithful is nothing other than impetrating Our likeness on the part of creatures; and so, echoing Our blessing, they repeat: ‘In the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.’ Therefore, without knowing it, the Church and all the faithful harmonize with the eternal Creator, and all want the same thing: God, by blessing and pronouncing the words, ‘Father, Son and Holy Spirit’, wants to give His likeness; the creatures impetrate it by making the sign of the Cross, pronouncing the same words.”
