I saw God's Holy Spirit — as a devastating fire — inundate the world.  This fire did not bring peace, nor mercy, but devastating punishment.  Wherever the flame of the Holy Spirit swept through, the evil spirits by the thousands fell back to hell.  But before everything was ruined, I saw the Holy Virgin fall on her knees before Jesus, praying, asking for mercy for the world.  Jesus did not look at her, but watched the Heavenly Father.  The Heavenly Father did not pull back His hand extended over the world in His just anger.  Then the Holy Virgin took from her shoulder the mantle of peace and suddenly covered the world with it.  All those parts of the world that were covered with the mantle escaped the punishment and shone in the blue color of peace.  But where the mantle did not cover the surface, the red color of anger could be seen glowing like embers.  I understood that we could escape from the just punishment of God only if we sought refuge under the mantle of our Blessed Virgin Mother, and pleaded for mercy through her.

The Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Elizabeth Kindelmann (1913-1985)

“The flame of grace which I give you from my Immaculate Heart must go from heart to heart.  It will be the miracle which will blind Satan.  It is the Flame of Love and unity and we shall extinguish fire with fire: the fire of hate with the fire of love!  I obtained these graces from our heavenly Father through the wounds of my Holy Son.

"My daughter, if you want to be always transformed in Me – even more, to be one single thing with Me - love Me always and you will maintain your transformation with Me. In fact, love is fire, and whatever woods are thrown into the fire, small or big, green or dry, they all take the form of fire and convert into fire itself; and after these woods have been burned, one can no longer discern which wood was one and which another, neither the green one nor the dry one – one can see nothing but fire. The same when the soul never ceases to love Me. Love is fire that transmutes the soul in God; love unites, its flames invest all of the human operations and give them the form of the divine operations."  (Vol. 10, Oct. 1, 1910)

Then He added: "My Love is fire, but not like material fire which destroys things and reduces them to ash. My fire vivifies and perfects, while it burns and consumes all that is not holy - desires, affections, thoughts which are not good. This is the virtue of my fire: to burn evil and to give life to good. Therefore, if the soul does not feel any tendency to evil within herself, she can be certain that my fire is in her. But if she feels fire mixed with evil within herself, it is very doubtable whether that be my real fire."  (Vol. 11, Apr. 10, 1913)

I will purify the earth by fire, because the stench that emanates from it is such that I cannot bear it.  Many will remain buried in the fire.  In this way I will make the earth come to its senses.  (Nov. 2, 1917)

“By the fire of the Spirit of Love, the work of the great purification will be quickly accomplished.” “It (the Church) will be deprived of its earthly goods and purified of many of its means of power that once again it may become poor, humble, simple and chaste.  In its pastors and its flock, it will again be crucified that It may give perfect witness to the Gospel of Jesus.” “Through the power of fire and blood, the whole world will also be renewed.  Humanity will return once again to the glorification of the Father, through Jesus, who will at last have established his reign in your midst.”   (#246, May 30, 1982)

“The great mercy will come to you as a burning fire of love and will be brought by the Holy Spirit, who is given to you by the Father and the Son, so that the Father may see Himself glorified and the Lord Jesus may feel Himself loved by all his brothers.” “The Holy Spirit will come down as fire, but in a manner different from his first coming; it will be a fire which will burn and transform everything, which will sanctify and renew the earth from its foundations.  It will open hearts to a new reality of life and lead all souls to a fullness of holiness and of grace.  You will know a love that is so great and a sanctify that is so perfect that it will be such as you had never known before.”  (#357, July 3, 1987)

“The Holy Spirit will come to establish the glorious reign of Christ and it will be a reign of grace, of holiness, of love, of justice and of peace.  With his divine love, He will open the doors of hearts and illuminate all consciences.  Every person will see himself in the burning fire of divine truth.  It will be like a judgment in miniature.  And then Jesus Christ will bring his glorious reign in the world.”  (#383, May 22, 1988)

“Miraculous and spiritual tongues of fire will purify the hearts and the souls of all, who will see themselves in the light of God and will be pierced by the keen sword of his divine truth.”  (#574, May 26, 1996)

After the purifying fire of the Holy Spirit

Jesus showed me in a vision that after the cleansing, mankind will live an angelic and clean life.  There will be an end to the sins against the sixth commandment and an end to lies!  The Savior showed me that unceasing love, happiness and divine joy will signify this future clean world.  I saw the blessing of God abundantly poured out upon the earth.  Satan and sin were completely defeated and took leave.  The cleansed world will gain, through the Blessed Virgin Mother, the peace of the Lord.

"My Immaculate Mother will be victorious over sin with her power as Queen.  The lily represents the cleansing of the world, the coming Age of Paradise, when humanity will live as if without sin.  This will be a new world and a new age.  This will be the age when mankind will get back what it lost in Paradise.  When My Immaculate Mother will step on the neck of the serpent, the gates of hell will be closed.  The hosts of angels will be part of this fight."

“I brought peace when I was born, but the world has not yet enjoyed it.  The world is entitled to that peace.  Men are the children of God.  God breathes His own Spirit into them.  God cannot let Himself be put to shame, and that is why the children of God are entitled to enjoy the peace that I promised.”

"'It is time that the Holy Spirit reign.' Very moved, the Lord told me this. He went on, 'and not a remote reign as something very sublime, even though it be so and there is nothing greater than He since He is God united and consubstantial with the Father and the Word. But it is necessary that He reigns, here, right close, in each soul and in each heart, in all the structures of My Church. The day on which there will flow in each pastor, in each priest, like an inner blood, the Holy Spirit, then will be renewed the theological virtues, now languishing, even in the ministers of My Church, due to the absence of the Holy Spirit. Then the world will change, for all the evils deplored today have their cause in the remoteness of the Holy Spirit, the sole remedy. Let the ministers of My Church react, through the medium of the Holy Spirit, and the whole world of souls will be divinized. He is the axis around which revolve the virtues. There is no virtue without the Holy Spirit. The decisive impulse for raising up My Church from the state of prostration in which she lies, consists in reviving the cult of the Holy Spirit. Let His place be given Him, that is, the first in intellects and wills! No one will be lacking anything with this heavenly wealth. “It will be the Spirit of Love, with his powerful action of fire and of grace renewing the very foundations of the whole world.  It will be He, the Spirit of Love, with his great force of holiness and of light, bringing my Church to new splendor, making it therefore humble and poor, evangelical and chaste, merciful and holy.  It will be the Spirit of Love, through the fire of innumerable sufferings renewing all creation, that it may become that garden of God, that terrestrial paradise in which Jesus will always be with you, like a sun of light reflecting its rays everywhere.”   (#284, Jan. 28, 1984)

Take courage, resume the journey in trust and hope.  You are approaching moments of grace in which you will see flow out upon the world the torrents of divine mercy.  The world will then be purified by this divine fire of love, and it will be completely renewed, so that Jesus may bring into your midst his kingdom of grace and of holiness, of justice, of love and of peace.”  (#602, Dec. 8, 1997)

Consecration to the Holy Spirit

O Holy Spirit, receive the perfect and total consecration of all my being.

Deign to be from this moment hence in every instant of my life and in my every action:
my Director, my Light, my Guide, my Strength and all the Love of my heart.

I abandon myself without reserve to all Thy divine action

 and I want always to be docile to Thy inspirations.

Holy Spirit, transform me with Mary and in Mary into Christ Jesus

 for the glory of the Father and the salvation of the world.
Amen.

Come, O Holy Spirit.

Come and change the face of the earth.

Come quickly.

Come in these last times.

Come now that the great trial has arrived.

Come and bring us your second Pentecost

so that our eyes may see your greatest miracle

that of the new heavens and the new earth.

St. Augustine – “My Lord, grant that your Flame of Love may burn in me and growing into a single flame may it burn constantly on the altar of my heart.  May your Flame of Love burn through my soul and consume it, so that the last day of my life may be a day of union with you forever. Amen.”

Pope Francis announced that the new jubilee, the year of Mercy, would begin on this year's Catholic feast of the Immaculate Conception, celebrated Dec. 8, 2015. It will close on Nov. 20, 2016, the day celebrated that year as the feast of Christ the King.

The Sacred Head of Our Blessed Lord - Teresa Higginson

MESSAGES OF OUR LORD TO TERESA HIGGINSON, born in Holywell, England - died in Chudleigh, Devon. (Servant of God, 1844-1905)

     Our Blessed Lord told Teresa that “the sufferings of His Body, yet they are but like a drop in the ocean compared with what His Soul endured.”  (Jesus told Luisa in Vol. 12, 1/29/19: “ My daughter, first I had to make known what My Humanity did and suffered exteriorly, to be able to dispose souls to know what My Divinity did interiorly.”)   He also told Luisa: “...the Passion that creatures gave Me on the lst of my days was nothing other than the shadow, the image of that which the Divinity made Me suffer during the course of my Life.”   (Vol. 12, 2/4/19)

     Our Lord impressed upon Teresa - His Soul is not know, His Soul is not loved.

(June, 1883)

     “Our divine Lord suddenly represented to me the Divinity as a very large precious crystal stone in which all things are reflected of exist; past, present and to come, in such a manner that all things are present  in Him.  This immense precious stone sent forth streams of richly colored lights brighter beyond comparison than ten thousand suns, which I understood represented the infinite Attributes of God.   This great jewel also seemed to be covered with innumerable eyes which I understood represented the Wisdom and Knowledge of God....Our Blessed Lord showed me this Divine Wisdom, as the guiding power which regulated the motions and affections of the Sacred Heart,  showing me that it had the same effect and power over its least action, in raising it, as the sun draws up the vapor from the ocean.”  (from a letter to her confessor about her first revelation in 1879)

     “Our Divine Lord says that the time is at hand when the Wisdom of the Father shall be adored and the Love of God for man shall be revealed in the Light which shineth in darkness and enlighteneth every man that cometh into the world.    It is the Will of Our Dear Blessed Lord that His Sacred Head be adored as the Seat of Divine Wisdom; not the Sacred Head alone, but the Head as the shrine of the Powers of the Soul and the faculties of the Mind and in these the Wisdom which guided every affection of the Sacred Heart and motions of the whole Being of Jesus Our Lord and Our God.”  (1879)

            “....His Sacred Humanity is the Tabernacle of the Thrice Holy Trinity; ...St. John had especially spoken of this devotion for the Most High revealed to him that He should be thus worshipped before the end of the world, and he spoke of it as a magnificent city, seeing the multitudes of variety and beauty and splendour of this Seat of Divine Wisdom.  It is a world of infinite magnitude, a sea of fathomless depths, a never setting sun of inaccessible light and immeasurable heights .....

     “....He said that as by the cunning and deceit of the devil, man first fell away from God in Paradise and incurred darkness of intellect and death - so in these later days of darkness, self-indulgence, intellectual pride and conceit, the splendour of eternal light, *into which no defiled thing may enter, shall shine out more glorious and brilliant than ten thousand suns, and the image of God’s goodness and majesty and power shall be seen in this unspotted mirror of truth, purity, knowledge and love.  Oh my father, do we not see the depth of that Divine Wisdom in the time that He has reserved for this manifestation of His adorable Will in this respect?  Each time, He also shows me the great blessings and graces He has in store for all who shall further His Divine Will to this end, and makes me tremble with terror at the dread punishments He has in store for all who shall hinder, or try to hinder the furtherance of this Heavenly Devotion, for their jaws He says shall be locked as were those of the lions in the den into which Daniel was cast.  They shall be shattered and reduced to nothingness.  And the twelve Fruits of the Holy Ghost that sparkle so beautifully in the Divine Wisdom are, as it were, the foundations to this City of the Lord which He has dug deep in humility.”  (to her confessor in 1880)  *To Luisa 3/3/1919:  In the Divine Eden the entrance is closed to the devil, to the passions, and to the weaknesses.  Indeed, satan himself does not want to enter.....”

    

     “I understand too that in the devotion to the Seat of Divine Wisdom, the Holy Ghost will be unveiled to our understanding, or His attributes will shine forth in the Person of God the Son; that the more we practice devotion to the Sacred Head, the more we will understand the working of the Holy Spirit of God in the human soul, and the better we will know and love the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost who are every in a Unity of Essence though in a Trinity of Persons......”  (1880)

     To Fr. Powell, her confessor:  The question you asked me was why our Dear Blessed Lord wished His Sacred Head to be honored as the ‘Shrine of the powers of His Holy Soul,’ when the soul was certainly all over the body and the head was not considering the acting seat of all the powers of the soul.  And this is what I understand - that as the Reason or Intellect in us in that part of the soul that is nearest to God - is in a special manner the Image of God, nay, is the very light of God in the soul, in which we see God as He is, and ourselves as we are, and are capable of judging right from wrong,  and as the head is the seat of the reasoning powers, and the faculties of the mind repose therein, so from the Sacred Head shine forth in a blaze of resplendent light all knowledge, wisdom, understanding and a guiding power to direct and govern the Will and Affections of the Sacred Heart.......The soul pervades every part of the body, but as the reasoning powers are the highest faculties of the soul, and as the head is said to contain or be the Shrine of these faculties in a special way, and the memory is said to exist in the brain, so the reason (intellect) guides and directs the will and love or affections of the human heart.  The head is the highest and noblest part of man, but I do not mean that the soul is divided, no, these three powers (memory, intellect, and will) though really distinct, cannot be separated any more than the Person of the Adorable Trinity could be separated - they form together but one soul which is immortal and perfect in its powers when filled with sanctifying Grace as is the Holy Soul of Jesus.”  (“It is in the intelligence that God places the image of the Most Holy Trinity.    Book of Heaven, Vol. 35, 8/29/37)

     “Jesus, the True Light, will arise and shed true Light and Wisdom and heat over the face of the earth.  He will give us to eat of the Tree of Knowledge.  He will feed us with good fruit, the wheat of His elect, and from the wine which makes virgins, He will give us to drink nectar and honey.....(Book of Heaven, Vol. 13)  The Sun of Justice shall arise and we shall see Him in the very light of His countenance, and if we allow ourselves to be guided by this light, He will open the eyes of the soul.  He will instruct the understanding.  He will recollect the memory.  He will feed the imagination with real and profitable substance.  He will guide and bend the will.  He will fill the hearing with good things and the heart with all it can desire.”  (Nov. 1880)  (Book of Heaven, Vol. 19, 8/12/26  and Vol. 17, pgs. 100-101)

    

     “I see more clearly now why Our Dear Lord is called the Word - because He is produced by the Father’s thought or contemplation of Himself....”  “And although the Son and the Holy Ghost are equally powerful, yet the almighty power is attributed in a special manner to the Eternal Father and as the three Divine Persons have the same wisdom and goodness, yet the Wisdom is particularly attributed to the Son and the Goodness to the Holy Ghost........”

     “I saw how the Sacred Head was in a special manner the dwelling place of the Holy Ghost, and as at the moment of the Creation the Spirit of God moved upon the waters, so He is ever enshrined in the Sea of glass, and His brightness is the light thereof, and His love the Sun that gives light and governs all things in this terrestrial and celestial Paradise as the sun rules the things of the earth.  I have understood from Our Dear Blessed Lord that He wished the great mystery of The Incarnation to be made very clear or taught very carefully to the children.  (1881)

    

     “....at present I feel as though I had not to run after God as it were, but that I possessed Him and was more closely united to Him than my soul is to my body, that He is the soul of my existence and that I feel and live in Him, and He does all and that I do nothing.”  (from a letter to Fr. Snow in 1887)

     “He told me frequently that as I had given myself wholly to Him to be His entirely, so He would be all mine, and that He would glorify me in the sight of the angels and saints, because I had emptied myself and become as naught to myself......”  (Oct. 1887)

     “....the uncreated Wisdom of God is God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost...God the Son, becoming man and being the image of the uncreated Wisdom of God, built for Himself a House which is the Sacred Head - (for Wisdom has built Herself a house..) And as Jesus has promised to remain with us forever, so He and the Spirit of Truth will guide and govern and enlighten His Church to the end of time.

     “....and holy souls will comfort and console with Him, honouring His Divine Soul, and here souls will be drawn to His Soul and they will be instructed by Him in the Wisdom of His Sacred Head......”

     Teresa to a Poor Clare Colenttine who nursed her in her last illness (1905):

     “In one of our spiritual talks, I asked Teresa how one could comply with Our Lord’s desire in praying without ceasing, for it seemed tiring to be saying vocal prayers all day long.  She replied that Our Lord did not mean us to be on our knees praying from morning til night, but that He wishes us to raise our minds and hearts from material things to things Divine.”

     “My dear child, how can I be disappointed at anything our dear Lord sends to me.  He is the Eternal Wisdom and Love, and I just press His dear Hands a little closer in mine and say, ‘Dear Lord, Thou knowest what is best.’  My dear child, whatever happens to you, always trust our dear Lord and remember all He sends is best even though you cannot understand.  You must believe in His love hidden in the sufferings He sends and love His Holy Will.  Make it your one joy and your one happiness; if you do this, I assure you, you will enjoy a heaven upon earth; but, of course, in order to love God’s Holy Will, one must first know God and love Him, and trust Him, and then we will willingly serve Him with love.”  Teresa herself, loved the Divine Will with a most intense love.  It was indeed the keynote of her sanctity, but she had the gift of knowledge.  She knew our dear Lord.  He was the only one that was real to her.  Everything else beside Him was only a shadow or a phantom”

     She writes to a priest concerning  Our Blessed Mother and Queen:

     “As the heavens are above the earth, so is the glory and majesty of Mary above the highest of God’s creatures and their beauty fades almost to nothingness beside her.  For in the very instant of her Immaculate Conception she far exceeded the cherubim and seraphim in knowledge, love and perfection, and each breath she drew, every motion and action of her whole life and being was one of next to infinite homage, adoration and profoundest knowledge and love; each beating of her heart was an immeasurable height and depth of perfection, and all the love and perfection of all the angels and saints united in one would not reach to her perfection at her birth.”

     “I feel as though I had no heart of soul, but that God Himself is my soul and there He shines and rules all in such wonderful wisdom and peace.  His glory and holy Will are all I desire.”

     “Around His Sacred Head shone a light of indescribable brilliancy and beauty; as it were, a sun in which sparkled 12 magnificent crystal stones reflecting all the colours of the rainbow.  (5/23/1880)

The following lines found written in her writing book after her death under the title, “Submission, “show how the love of God and His Divine Will were the keynotes of her sanctity:

     Father of all, we fain would say, as did Thy Only Son,

     In every hour of every day, Oh!  let Thy Will be done.

     In thought, in word, in deed, in death, things finished or begun,

     Let every transitory breath whisper, Thy Will be done.

     In daily cares to thousands known or known perchance to none,

     Let this request be heard above, Oh!  Lord Thy Will be done.

     In sickness though some stroke unseen may oft the senses stun,

     Let grace suggestive intervene to feel Thy Will be Done.

     In health, when in it’s full career the race of man is run,

     Let joy be taught by holy fear to pray, Thy Will be done.

     Amidst the rocks and shoals of life which few can ever shun,

     Let peace compose each spark of strife and cry Thy Will be done.

     And when the bow of hope shall blend all colours into one,

     Time in eternity shall end with - Lord, Thy Will be done.

      O Seat of Divine Wisdom and guiding power which regulates and govern all the motions and love of the Sacred Heart, may all minds know Thee, all hearts love thee, and all tongues praise Thee now and forever

"I, from the moment of My Incarnation in Mary's most pure womb, acquired graces. I want you, transformed into Me, living out of My own life, not to do from now on anything else. You must forget yourself, and day and night offer up everything for the salvation and perfection of souls.”

"Listen, you are going to make a chain. Each hour of your life will be one of its golden links, if you offer it for this intention, and I want you to stop only on your death.”

"This chain began in Me, the chain of expiation on earth, will be changed into graces. I began this chain with My Incarnation, and as its reflection in your heart, I have wished to associate you with it out of pure bounty.”

"The Chain is to live 'in Christ-Jesus' with His same salvific intentions.”

"All virtues not enwrapped in love will not be part of this chain which binds Me, the Word, to earth, and so much ingratitude has not been able to break. Who, then, do you think sent it to earth? The Holy Spirit, (on) the day of the Incarnation in Mary"   (Diary, June 21, 1906).

"You must live in continual contact with the Trinity, united to the three Divine Persons by the grace of the mystical incarnation: with the Father offering Him His Word, with the Son, giving delights to the Father, with the Holy Spirit accepting Him for your spirit, the inspirer of your feelings and of all that you are, transforming you since you are possessed by Him.”

"You must live, breathe, labor, in the bosom of these three Divine Persons. They must constitute your atmosphere, your breathing, your existence. Thus, you will sanctify your life and what you are, divinizing your whole being and each of your steps to heaven.”

"From today on, you must live more and more in this intimacy with the Trinity, drawing from It light, the way you conduct yourself, force, grace and all the help needed to carry out your mission on earth. You should not leave on high, as on a throne and far away this trinity of Persons, but live, breathe, and dwell in its bosom, under its fecund influence, in the radiance of Its divinity, in the shadow of Its grace. If you are possessed by the Holy Spirit, if you really possess Him, you will not be able to separate yourself from Him, but on the contrary, you will remain most intimately united with the Father and the Word”.

"If in your soul there is operated the mystical incarnation, there attracted by the Word, will be found the Father and the Holy Spirit. If the Holy Spirit and the Word divinize you in this so innerly a manner, if they enter into you, the Father who by nature holds the first place in these operations, will unite you to Him, from whom proceeds all fecundity and might, drawing you by a grace of special filiation, burying you in His eternity of all perfections" (Diary, July 19, 1906).

"Listen. There are many progressive degrees in the transformation. The highest degree on earth corresponds to a transformation of the creature not only in its manner of thinking and of acting which becomes divine, but which, in a certain sense, causes it to disappear an annihilate itself to give place to Me.”

"Learn to have but one only outlook, one only tendency, one only affection and will in God. Employ your existence loving God most simply, without detours, without complications, without seeking other ways or paths to come to Him, but seek only this essential Unity in which you must plunge yourself.”

"The very virtues you practice, direct them all to this Center of love, to this Unique Being whence all grace and holiness come, to this unity which is God. The Holy Spirit, one with the Father and the Son will bear you on His wings up to the heart of this Unity, that you may understand, move, breathe and live in It. This divine Spirit, on spiritualizing you, that is, on unifying you, will make you penetrate into what is Spirit, that is, into the essential Divinity, having prior to this passed through Jesus Christ in your transformation into Him in virtues and through love.”

"This is most sublime, but not impossible for the creature. This is not an ideal perfection I ask of you, but a most practical perfection by means of the exercise of virtues. This implies renunciation, simplification for uniting oneself more closely with Simplicity itself: God, one in the spirituality of His substance, this One in Three and these Three in One, indivisible and all perfect”
"All that you do and practice, cast it as often as possible into this Unity which must bring you along by the infinite perfection of its ever new beauties and by its infinite love. Your pains, your sufferings, your joys, your acts of renunciation, your desires and your hopes, your needs and your feelings, cast them all into this Unity which by its contact will simplify your life, the essence of your life, until you come to make yourself like to this unity itself in the plurality of virtues" (Diary, April 15, 1913).

"Loving is perfecting and living with the love the Father has for the Son, that is, through the Holy Spirit - (this) is the most sublime perfection.

"Once transformation into Jesus is brought about in a soul, the Holy Spirit also becomes the spirit of the creature raised to a more or less higher degree according to the intensity and amplitude of transformation, which strictly depends on the growth of the soul in virtue. The Holy Spirit absorbs the creature's spirit in the course of transformation and fills it with this so pure love which is Himself. Then, it is with this same Love that the creature loves the divine Word, that is, with the same Love with which the Father loves Him, with absolute Love.

"Loving with the Holy Spirit is the grace of graces, the fusion of divine charisms, it is heaven itself placed at the disposition of that poor creature. The creature no longer acts, for its is the Holy Spirit who acts, whose heart beats, and who lives in it, and who loves with it and wholly surrounds it" (Diary, April 17, 1913).

"The mystical incarnation is a grace of transformation in view of an assimilation of the creature with its model Jesus, who I am." (Diary, Dec. 11, 1913) 

"The mystical incarnation attracts the Holy Spirit, loving, mighty and divine of the Word who possesses the soul. Transformation is in the innermost part and the most noble of the creature." (Diary, Aug. 6, 1912) 

"Do not think that in the mystical incarnation of the Word it is I who act, but the Trinity of the Divine Persons do so, each one of them operating according to His attributes, the Father, as Father, engendering: the Word as Son, being born; the Holy Spirit making fertile this divine action in the soul." (Diary, Sept. 22, 1927).

"One of the main fruits of the mystical incarnation is the reign of the Holy Spirit which must bring about the disappearance of materialism" (Diary, Feb. 19, 1911).

Her spiritual director, Archbishop Luis Maria Martinez told her: "The teacher and model of this life, is Mary. Contemplate Her. Imitate Her and throw yourself into Her motherly arms" (Diary, Sept. 17, 1927).

As I was in my usual state, my adorable Jesus came as crucified, and after He shared His pains with me, while I was suffering, He told me: “My daughter, in the Creation I gave my image to the soul; in the Incarnation I gave my Divinity, divinizing humanity. And since in the very act, in the very instant, in which the Divinity incarnated Itself in humanity, It incarnated Itself in the cross, in such a way that from the moment I was conceived, I was conceived united with the cross – it can be said that just as my cross was united with Me in the Incarnation which I did in the womb of my Mother, so does my cross form as many other incarnations of mine in the wombs of souls. And just as the cross forms my incarnation in souls, the cross is the incarnation of the soul in God, destroying in her everything that gives of nature, and filling her with the Divinity so much, as to form a sort of incarnation – God in the soul, and the soul in God.” I remained as though enchanted on hearing that the cross is the incarnation of the soul in God, and He repeated: “I am not saying union, but incarnation, because the cross penetrates so much into her nature as to make her nature itself become suffering, and where there is suffering there is God, as God and suffering cannot be apart. And the cross, forming this incarnation, renders this union more stable, and the separation of God from the soul almost as difficult as is separating suffering from nature. On the other hand, through union, the separation can easily occur. It is understood, always, that this is not the Incarnation, but a simile of the Incarnation.”   Book of Heaven, Vol. 6, Dec. 22, 1903
