When you hear of people, especially family and friends who are close to you, who have told you about their experiences while in Medjugorje - do not doubt but believe.

When you hear of the many people coming back to the Church and to the Sacraments because of Medjugorje - do not doubt but believe.

When you hear of the many Priests who have been called to their vocations due to Medjugorje – do not doubt but believe.

My conversion came even before I visited Medjugorje. It was on a trip to a horse show in Ocala, FL when my husband was telling me about a place where the Blessed Mother was supposed to be appearing that he had heard about from a friend.  We talked about this all the way to Ocala from where we lived which was about two hours away.  Just as we got to Ocala, we were passing a Catholic Church on the way to the showgrounds.  Noticing that people were just going into the Church, my husband decided that we should go.  I fought him as I did not want to go, but after much persuading, I decided to join him.

As I sat listening to the Homily given by the Priest, I sat in amazement hearing him speak about exactly what my husband was telling me on our two-hour trip there – all about the Blessed Mother appearing in a place called Medjugorje!

If that were not enough to get my attention, the Priest asked everyone to pray the prayer that was in the bulletin.  As I was leaving the Church, I felt compelled to take one of the bulletins, and opening it I read the prayer to the Holy Spirit (“Breathe on me breath of God”) that he requested we pray.  Even though I read this prayer only one time, it was imbedded in my heart and I never forgot it.

Well, we did go to Medjugorje a few years later, but it wasn’t that I had to go there to believe – that happened well before then.  I never had any doubt about Our Mother’s presence there, and I will thank Her for all eternity for bringing me to Her Son.

And what do I owe to this august Queen?  What do we all owe to Her?  We owe Her our life – the true life in God.  She has come to bring us back to life in the Divine Will.  So, open your heart and listen to those who have been converted because of our Lady’s visit to Her children, and thank Her – do not doubt but believe.

The Warning

This is from Conchita of Garabandal about the timing of the Warning (1965):

Conchita: "When communism comes again everything will happen."
Author: "What do you mean by comes again?"
Conchita: "Yes, when it newly comes again," she replied.
Author: "Does that mean that communism will go away before that?"
Conchita: "I don't know," she said in reply, "the Blessed Virgin simply said 'when communism comes again'."

From Elizabeth Kindelmann (Flame of Love):

“He talked to me a lot about the period of grace and the Spirit of Love.  He said: ‘I could compare this flood of grace with the first Pentecost which inundated the world with the power of the Holy Spirit.  All mankind will take note of this miracle.  This is the emanation of the Flame of Love of the Blessed Virgin.  The unbelieving world, which gradually sinks into darkness, will experience a grave shock before it will start to believe.  This shock will create a new world through the strength of faith.  Then confidence in faith will take root in souls and the face of the earth will be renewed because there will never have been such a deluge of grace since the Word became Flesh.  The renewal of the world, overwhelmed with suffering, will happen through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin’s power and strength.”  (her apparitions had the backing of a Cardinal, Peter Erdo, the primate of Hungary and President of the Council of Episcopal Conference in Europe, and at least six Latin American Bishops)

To Fr. Gobbi (MMP) Our Lady said regarding the Warning:

“The second Pentecost will come to bring this humanity – which has again become pagan and which is living under the powerful influence of the Evil One – back to its full communion of life with its Lord who has created, redeemed, and saved it.  Miraculous and spiritual tongues of fire will purify the hearts and souls of all, who will see themselves in the light of God and will be pierced by the keen sword of His divine truth.”

From the Victorious Queen of the World (Sr. Natalia of Hungary) Jan. 25, 1986:

The Lord let me see a beautiful, reddish globe the size of which was about the head of an infant which travelled on a transparent cloud.  Arriving from the East, it stopped for a few seconds over Hungary.  The sphere then opened, and from it our Mother stepped out as the Queen of the World. She came closer on the cloud…everyone could see her, and this was one of the graces.  The hearts of the people suddenly burned with love toward God and their fellow man.  They were moved to do penance and their souls seemingly were freed from the burden of sin.  At that moment, everyone was fallen in the dust of their sins and their hands and eyes were turned toward heaven and they asked for mercy.  There were only a few people who didn’t plead for mercy and many of those died…this vision is the forerunner of the great miracle promised to the world.  Jesus even set a date when it will arrive, but no matter how much I would love to tell it, I could not pronounce it.”

The Sun of the Divine Will

THE SUN OF THE DIVINE WILL

“And in the first place, I appeal to the Highest Hierarch, to the Roman Pontiff, to His Holiness, to the representative of the Holy Church, and therefore the representative of the Kingdom of the Divine Will.   At his holy feet, this little, tiny child places this Kingdom, so that he dominate It and make It known, and with his paternal and authoritative voice, call his sons to live in this Kingdom so holy. 
May the Sun of the SUPREME "FIAT" invest him and form the first Sun of the Divine Volition in Its Representative on earth; and forming Its primary Life in Him who is the Head of all, It will spread Its interminable rays in all the world; and eclipsing all with Its Light, It will form one flock and one Shepherd.”      From Luisa’s Appeal

 When Sr. Lucia, the last Fatima visionary, was called into eternity on February 13, 2005 “the 13th of Adar”, it was never noticed that the date of Sr. Lucia’s passing links to *a small yellow star, worn by Our Lady of Fatima. This star is a profound symbol long recognized by tradition as the “Star of Esther.” It points to an Old Testament history called The Book of Esther, which relates the story of a Jewish queen whose intercession saved her people from annihilation. Queen Esther’s mediation allowed the ancient Hebrews to gather themselves together, and to stand for their lives on the 13th day of Adar. The secret significance of Lucia’s date of death has been right before our eyes all the time: It occurred exactly 40 minutes before sunset, on the 13th of February– in the Hebrew month of Adar.  *(Sister Lucia gave detailed descriptions of Our Lady of Fatima to Fr. Thomas McGlynn, an American sculptor who was commissioned to make the official statue that would be used to decorate the front of the Basilica. This statue, sculpted under the direct supervision of Sr. Lucia herself, is a more accurate representation of Our Lady of Fatima, and is to be differentiated from the more famous  pilgrim statue.  We find a highly detailed account of the Virgin Mary's appearance given in the writings of Fr. Thomas McGlynn, who elaborated how Sr. Lucia would be at pains to mention the yellow star worn of the tunic of the Blessed Mother:

Lucy said, "It seemed to be straighter. It was a thing all made of light and very light, but it fell straight down. The clothing was all white. The cord was a more intense and yellow light.... The light of Our Lady was white and the star was yellow.")

“The Sanctity of living in the Divine Will is symbolized by the SUN, which does good to all, gives Itself to all, denies Itself to no one, and while almost holding the earth on Its lap (giving to each plant, to some color, to some sweetness, to some fragrance – things which are all different and distinct among each other), yet, while doing so much good, the SUN never says a word; It allows Its light to be trodden by our steps; It follows us everywhere, and all the glory and honor is of God, who made It SUN. Such is the soul who lives in the Divine Will, whom the Lord uses to do good to all, and from whom He receives glory and honor, as if all had loved Him.”

GOD USES THE SUN TO TEACH ABOUT THE TRINITY AND THE DIVINE WILL

Volume 16 – February 10, 1924

“…in my all-seeingness, I see that these writings will be for my Church like a new sun which will rise in Her midst; and drawn by its blazing light, creatures will apply themselves in order to be transformed into this light and become spiritualized and divinized, in such a way that, as the Church will be renewed, they will transform the face of the earth. The doctrine on my Will is the purest, the most beautiful, not subject to any shadow of the material or of interest, both in the supernatural and in the natural order. Therefore, like sun, it will be the most penetrating, the most fecund, and the most welcomed and appreciated. And being light, of its own it will make itself understood and will make its way. It will not be subject to doubts or suspicions of error; and if some word is not understood, it will be because of too much light which, eclipsing the human intellect, will not allow them to comprehend the whole fullness of the truth. However, they will find not a word which is not truth. At the most, they will not be able to comprehend it fully.

Volume 3 – March 25, 1900

“Just as the sun is the light of the world, so did the Word of God, in incarnating Himself, become the light of souls. And just as the material sun gives light in general and to each one in particular, so much so, that each one can enjoy it as if it were his own, in the same way, the Word, while giving light in general, is Sun for each one in particular; so much so, that each one can have this Divine Sun as if It were for himself alone.”

Volume 5 – June 16, 1903

“The sun is there for the benefit of all, but not everyone enjoys its beneficial effects. In the same way, the Divine Sun gives Its light to all, but who enjoys Its beneficial effects? One who keeps his eyes open to the light of truth. All others, even if they are exposed to the Sun, remain in the dark. However, it is one who is all intent on pleasing Me that truly enjoys and receives all the fullness of this Sun.”

Volume 13 - November 12, 1921

"My daughter, the Sanctity in my Will is not yet known. This is the reason for their wonderment; in fact, when something has been known, the wonderment ceases. All sanctities are symbolized by something that is spread in Creation: there are sanctities symbolized by mountains, others by trees, others by plants, the little flower, the stars; and many other similes. All of these sanctities have their own limited and individual good; they have their beginning, as well as an end; they cannot embrace everything and do good to all, just as a tree or a flower cannot do so.

Now, the Sanctity in my Will will be symbolized by the sun. The sun has always been, and will always be; and even though it had a beginning in illuminating the world, since it is light that took origin from my Eternal Light, it can be said that it has no beginning. The sun does good to all, it extends to all with its light; it makes no exception with anyone. With its majesty and its dominion it rules over everything and gives life to everything, even to the littlest flower - but silently, without noise, and almost unobserved. Oh! if a plant did a little something, a shadow of what the sun does, giving heat to another plant, all would proclaim a miracle. All would want to see it, and would talk about it with amazement. The sun that gives life and heat to everything, and is the continued miracle – no one talks about it; no amazement. And this happens because man keeps his eyes always down below and on earthly things - never up high and on celestial things.

Now, the Sanctity in my Will, symbolized by the sun, will come out from the center of my Sanctity; It will be a ray delivered by my Sanctity, which has no beginning. So, these souls existed in my Sanctity; they exist, and will exist. They were together with Me in the good I did; they never went out of the ray in which I had issued them to the light. As they never departed from my Will, I amused Myself with them, and I still do. My union with them is permanent. I see them floating above everything; human supports do not exist for them, just as the sun does not lean on anything - it lives up high as though isolated, but with its light it encloses everything within itself. The same for these souls: they live up high like the sun, but their light descends to the deepest bottom and extends to all. I would feel as if I defrauded them if I did not keep them aware of, and did not let them do what I do. So, there is no good which does not descend from them.

In this Sanctity I see my shadows, my images, hovering over the whole earth, in the air, in Heaven. And this is why I love and will love the world - because I am waiting for my Sanctity to have Its echo upon earth; for my rays to come out to the light and give Me complete glory, returning to Me the love and the honor which others have not given Me. However, just like the sun, they will be the most unobserved, without any clamor. But if anyone wants to look at them, my jealousy will be such that they will run the risk of remaining blinded, and will be forced to lower their gazes in order to regain their sight. Do you see how beautiful is the Sanctity in my Will? It is the Sanctity which is the closest to your Creator; therefore It will have primacy over all other sanctities, It will enclose within Itself all other sanctities together, and will be life of all other sanctities.

What grace for you to know It! To be the first, like solar ray, to come out from the center of my Sanctity, without ever detaching from It! Greater grace I could not give you - more portentous a miracle I could not operate in you. Be attentive, my daughter, my ray, because every time you enter into my Will and operate, it happens as when the sun hits the glass: many suns are formed in it. In the same way, you repeat my Life as many times; you multiply It, you give new life to my love.”

Volume 17 - January 22, 1925

“My daughter, this sun which you see within the intelligence of my Humanity, was formed by my Divinity, which endowed Me with the creative power and the all-seeingness of all things, in such a way that I was to be the new Sun of souls. And just as the sun which I created for the good of nature, covers the whole earth with its light, without denying the effects of its light to anyone, though it does not depart from the heavens, but unleashes from its center the rays which bring upon earth the goods that the sun contains – in the same way, without departing from Me, with Its inaccessible light, my Divinity formed in Me spokes of light. And these rays covered everyone and everything; and I, at each instant, covered each thought, word and act of all creatures, and constituted Myself perennial glory to my Father for each thought, act, word, etc., of all human generations. While rising to the Celestial Father, this light descended to take, as though in its power, all human acts in order to illuminate them, warm them and repair them. So, over each human act hovers a light that wants to do good to it, continuously. In Me, doing this was as though natural. You, my daughter, do not have this power to make one single act out of all acts, as I did. Therefore, in my Will you will go through each ray, one by one; and, little by little, you will follow the same path as my Humanity.”

Volume 17 – Sept. 17, 1924

“My daughter, see how beautiful is the Sun of my Will! What power, what marvel! As soon as the soul wants to fuse herself in It in order to embrace all, my Will, turning into Sun, wounds the soul and forms another Sun in her. And as she forms her acts in It, she forms Its rays to wound the Sun of the Supreme Will; and overwhelming all into this light, she loves, glorifies, satisfies her Creator for all – and what is more, not with human love, glory and satisfaction, but with love and glory of Divine Will, because the Sun of my Will has operated in her. Do you see what it means to do acts in my Will? This is the living in my Will: the Sun of my Will, transforming the human will into Sun, acts within it as in Its own center.”

Then, afterwards, my sweet Jesus went on taking all the books written on His Divine Will; He united them together, then He pressed them to His Heart, and with unspeakable tenderness, He added: “I bless these writings from the Heart. I bless each word; I bless the effects and the value they contain. These writings are part of Myself.”

The Third and Fourth Watch of the Night - for your discernment

(Sometime in 2007 during Adoration)  I heard within my interior, “You are in the third watch.”

(Ron L. told me, “The third watch is the midnight watch – it is before the dawn.  Most of the time the enemy would attack then because most are asleep.”)

Shortly after this I was lead to read:

Exodus 14:  Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the Lord swept the sea with a strong east wind….

The Egyptians followed in pursuit:  all Pharaoh’s horses and chariots and charioteers went after them right into the midst of the sea.  In the night watch just before dawn, the Lord cast through the column of the fiery cloud  upon the Egyptian force a glance that threw it into a panic; and he so clogged their chariot wheels that they could hardly drive.  With that, the Egyptians sounded the retreat before Israel, because the Lord was fighting for them against the Egyptians.  Then the Lord told Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea that the water may flow back upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots and their charioteers.”  So Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and at dawn the sea flowed back to its normal depth. The Egyptians were fleeing head on toward the sea, when the Lord hurled them into its midst.  As the water flowed back, it covered the chariots and the charioteers of Pharaoh’s whole army which had followed the Israelites into the sea.  Not a single one of them escaped.   But the Israelites had marched on dry land through the midst of the sea, with the water like a wall to their right and to their left.

The Dawn

“To the Priests” from the Marian Movement of Priests, Our Lady says:

“I am the dawn which precedes the day.”  (#252)

“I am the dawn which is arising to announce the great day of the Lord.” (#344)

“I am the daybreak which precedes the sun; I am the dawn which begins the new day.” (20)

From the Book of Heaven, The Divine King Appeals to His Children:  “She (Our Lady) is traveling amongst the people of the Nations disposing and preparing them to receive the dominion of the Kingdom of My Will.  It was She who prepared the people for Me so that I could descend from Heaven to earth.  And now, I am entrusting to Her the task of disposing the souls of our people to receive a Gift so great.” (The Gift of living in the Divine Will)

 Vol. 24 – May 26, 1928:  “And just as the Holy Virgin put an end to the night hours of the patriarchs and prophets and formed the dawn to make the Sun of the Eternal Word rise, so will this one form the Dawn to make rise the Sun of the Fiat Voluntas Tua on earth as It is in Heaven.”

Vol. 35 – Sept. 26, 1937:  “…just as nature has its day in human life, during which all the actions of life are performed, in the same way my Divine Will forms Its Day in the depth of the creature who lives in my Will.  As the creature begins to form her acts in It, calling It to her as her own Life, she starts her day, forming a most shining Dawn in the depth of her soul.  This Dawn gathers its Power, renewing in the creature the Power of the Father, the Wisdom of the Son, the Virtue and Love of the Holy Spirit.  So she starts her Day together with the Most Holy Trinity, which descends in the most tiny acts and hiding places of the creature in order to live together with her, and to do whatever she does.  This Dawn is the first rest of God within the room of the soul – it is the beginning of the eternal Day in which the Life of the Supreme Being starts together with the creature.”

The Sea and the Wall

Vol. 13 – July 20, 1921:  “…when my love will make arise the Era of my Will – the new Era of maximum benefit for creatures – then will the seas and rivers of my Volition overflow; and as their gigantic waves rise, they will sweep everything into My Will – but no longer hiddenly; rather, Its roaring waves will make themselves seen by everyone and will touch everyone.  And those who want to resist the current will run the risk of losing their lives.”

Vol. 7 – Feb. 12, 1906:  “…but the wall of the soul who lives in the Will of God is a wall so high and deep that neither its depth nor its height can be found… since this wall is in the Divine Volition – that is, in God – God Himself keeps it, and there is no power that can defy God.”

Vol. 19 – Aug. 8, 1926:  “It happens as between the sea and a little stream which is separated from the sea only by a wall; so much so, that if the wall were removed, the sea and the little stream would become one single sea… My daughter, the sea is God…the wall that separates them is the human nature, which makes one distinguish God and the creature, the overflowings, the waves which rise continuously to unload themselves into the little stream, are my Divine Will that wants to give so much to the creature, that the little stream, being filled and swelled up, may overflow, may form its waves, swollen by the wind of the Supreme Will, and may pour back into the Divine Sea, only to be filled again.”

Vol. 19 – Aug. 14, 1926:  These knowledge’s will be an immensely high and strong wall, more than the terrestrial Eden, which will prevent the enemy from entering in order to molest those who, conquered by It, will pass to live in the Kingdom of My Will.”

Rev. 15:2:  “And I saw what appeared to be a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who had conquered the beast and its image and the number of its name, standing beside the sea of glass with harps of God in their hands.  And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb…

Rev. 16:15:  “Lo, I am coming like a thief!  Blessed is he who is awake, keeping his garments that he may not go naked and be seen exposed!”

THE FOURTH WATCH (The new era – the era of peace)

MT 14:[21] And the number of them that did eat, was five thousand men, besides women and children. [22] And forthwith Jesus obliged his disciples to go up into the boat, and to go before him over the water, till he dismissed the people. [23] And having dismissed the multitude, he went into a mountain alone to pray. And when it was evening, he was there alone. [24] But the boat in the midst of the sea was tossed with the waves: for the wind was contrary. [25] And in the fourth watch of the night, he came to them walking upon the sea.

[26] And they seeing him walk upon the sea, were troubled, saying: It is an apparition. And they cried out for fear. [27] And immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying: Be of good heart: it is I, fear ye not. [28] And Peter making answer, said: Lord, if it be thou, bid me come to thee upon the waters. [29] And he said: Come. And Peter going down out of the boat, walked upon the water to come to Jesus. [30] But seeing the wind strong, he was afraid: and when he began to sink, he cried out, saying: Lord, save me.

[31] And immediately Jesus stretching forth his hand took hold of him, and said to him: O thou of little faith, why didst thou doubt? [32] And when they were come up into the boat, the wind ceased. [33] And they that were in the boat came and adored him, saying: Indeed thou art the Son of God.

The fourth watch – (the time following the third watch)

“Seeing Him…”  “they cried out in fear…”  - “It is an apparition” 

“…when they were come up into the boat, the wind ceased. [33] And they that were in the boat came and adored him, saying: Indeed thou art the Son of God.     (The boat – the Catholic Church John Bosco’s dream, the wind - persecution)  Those who enter into the Catholic Church after the warning will come to believe and those who remain in the Church will adore Him.

 “…seeing the wind strong, he was afraid: and when he began to sink, he cried out, saying: ‘Lord, save me.’” (persecution of the Church)

[31] And immediately Jesus stretching forth his hand took hold of him, and said to him: O thou of little faith, why didst thou doubt? [32] And when they were come up into the boat, the wind ceased. [33] And they that were in the boat came and adored him, saying: Indeed thou art the Son of God.

Why Did Jesus “mean to pass by” his Disciples when He was walking on the water?

In the Gospel for daily Mass on this past Wednesday we read from Mark Chapter 6. It is the familiar story of Jesus walking on the water after having multiplied to loaves and fishes earlier that day.

There is to our modern ears an odd turn of phrase that takes place about midway through the gospel. It says: About the fourth watch of the night, [Jesus] came toward them, walking on the sea. He meant to pass by them… (Mark 6:48)

This seems odd. Why would Jesus approach them walking on the water, (astounding miracle that it is), and simply mean to pass on by?

The problem is, we think that it means that he will not to stop, but will keep walking passed them. But actually this is not what it means.

This expression of God “passing by” is common in the Theophanies of the Old Testament. For example, when Moses was up on the mountaintop, The text teaches us in Exodus, that he revealed himself to Moses by “passing by.” The text says:

Then Moses said, “Now show me your glory.” And the Lord said, “I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the Lord, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. But,” he said, “you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live.” Then the Lord said, “There is a place near me where you may stand on a rock. When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by. Then I will remove my hand and you will see my back; but my face must not be seen.” (Exodus 33: 18-23)

Another example of this is in the appearance he made to Elijah who was hiding in a cave after his flight from Jezebel. At one point, God called him out of the cave so that he could “pass by” The text says,

The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.” Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. (1 kings 19:11-13)

Some other example of this “passing by are:

1. When John the Baptist saw Jesus passing by, he said, “Look, the Lamb of God!” (Jn 1:36)
2. Now hearing a crowd going by, [the Blind Man] began to inquire what this was. They told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. And he called out, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”… (Lk 18:37-38)

Hence, for Jesus to “pass by” is not for him to walk past us in hiding. Rather, it is just the opposite, it is for him to reveal himself to us and summon us to Faith. This is also the case in the Old Testament texts where God “passes by” not to hide, but reveal himself and summon us to faith.

Some may argue that these phrases should be translated differently so that we can better grasp their meaning. Why not just say “He came toward them to reveal himself to them” ??

Perhaps there is some merit in this. But I would counter that more mileage is sometimes gained by the text causing us to ponder, and pray. Consider that in “decoding” this text we have looked at four other passages. Further, we have deepened our appreciation of what it means for God to “pass by.”

Meditation on the Presentation of Jesus:

 Mon. Jan 2, 1995

As Our Holy Mother presented Jesus in the Temple, She present to us Her Heart united to the Heart of Her Son, asking for our hearts in exchange, that She might present them to God the Father.  We must offer our hearts to Them for this spiritual exchange of hearts.

Meditation on the Finding of Jesus in the Temple:

After this exchange of hearts, we find within the temples of our hearts the pure Hearts of Our Holy Mother and Our Lord.  This is where we find Jesus & Mary united with us and where the Triumph of Her Heart will begin.**

**Friday, Feb. 7, 2003, Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament:  (added on 3/6/09)

After receiving Holy Communion; I saw within my soul Jesus sitting upon my heart as if on a throne; His back towards me, looking out, with something like a staff in His right hand.  He spoke to me saying, “It is from here I will reign!”  Jesus then turned into a little child, but remained sitting upon my heart with the staff remaining in His Hand.  Jesus then spoke again saying, “I will reign in those who love Me.”

 Meditation, mid-Jan., 1995

As I was meditating on a letter Sr. Maureen wrote me, it came to me that the same way the Church is being pulled apart today, Jesus’ limbs were pulled apart as they nailed Him to the Cross.   As this thought came to me, Jesus spoke to me saying, “You will suffer with Me!”

Meditation on the Presentation of Jesus:

Sat., Feb. 4, 1995

As Our Lady presented the Infant Jesus to God the Father in the Temple, She also presents Him to us each day at the Mass (in the Temple), and also presents each of us to God the Father as She presented Jesus to Him.  As Simeon and Anna knew that this Infant was the son of God, we also must see Him in the Eucharist with the same faith as they did.  We must believe in His true Presence.  Jesus has told me that the “abomination will soon be set up in the temple” and that we must continue to walk in faith – “to be His Light” in the darkness surrounding us.  I have complained to Him to open the hearts of all the people that they may return to Him, and He has told me many times that He “will not impose on their will.”  He cannot enter the hearts of so many as they are hardened and filled with pride – that many of them will be lost.  We are asked to continue to pray for them during this time of Mercy that their hearts may open.   This is where the “abomination” begins – in the heart”, but will “soon be set up in the temple”.  As Our Lady presented Jesus, She by tradition, was to be purified according to the Law (though She was already pure!) – the Church must also be purified!

March 6, 1995, Adoration Chapel:

When you were hungry, I fed you,

Do for Me what I have done for you.

June 12, 1995, Adoration Chapel:

While meditating on the Resurrection, I thought about why the Apostles did not recognize Our Lord When they saw Him.  He told me they did not recognize Him because they were seeing with their

“human eyes” and not with the “eyes of their souls.”  Then He said that I was like them – I do not believe that He is speaking to me – that I should “listen with the ears of my soul.”

Meditation, sometime the beginning of 1996:

Our Lord calls out to His Father, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”  The Light from the Father diminishes within Him and Heaven seems to no longer hear Him.  He sees before Him the souls of all those who would abandon Him and the extinguished lights of all those who would be lost forever – being deprived of the ones He could not save – His greatest torment.  How many would be lost?  Did He feel that He suffered in vain?  He sees His Churches and chapels empty – no one is there to console His great sorrow.  He sees those who abandon His Church – His Mystical Body – abandoned by so many.  Even His apostles have abandoned Him.   He is alone with only His Mother to comfort Him.  In sorrow, He cries out, “I thirst!” – thirsting for the souls that He is in agony for, thirsting for the souls He knows He is to die for.  He is truly the “spurned one”.  He continues today to pour out His Mercy for those who are lost, that they might repent and be saved.  He feels as much abandoned today as He did when He hung upon the Cross.  He cries out to the Father for us….(unfinished)

Meditation on the Resurrection, Aug. 10, 1996:

After the sacrifice came the Resurrection – after the sacrifice of the Mass, when we receive Jesus in the Eucharist, our hearts become the tomb where He rests and He is resurrected in us.  I was lead to understand that as His Holy Face was imprinted on the shroud, His Divine Features are also imprinted upon our hearts.  In the promises to those devoted to His Holy Face, Our Lord has said, “They will, as the pious Veronica, wipe my Adorable Face outraged by sin, and I will imprint My Divine Features in the souls.”

Meditation of the Presentation, Oct. 21, 1996:

During the Mass, I become a Bethlehem.  The cave where Jesus is to be born is inside my heart.  I try to prepare a place fit for Him to be born, but it is cold and dark inside, and yet, He chooses to be born here.

Upon His arrival, my cave becomes all Light and the darkness and cold within disappear.  Mother Mary wraps Him tightly in my heart as She wrapped Him in swaddling clothes.  The Lord is now with Me!  I go to bring Him to others.  It is time to present Him to God the Father; I bring Him within me to the temple (the Mass) to present Him to the Father.  He leaves my heart as He leaves the arms of Our Mother to e placed in the arms of Simeon (the Priest).  Simeon takes Him into his arms and blesses God.  (My eyes have seen your salvation which you prepared in sight of all the peoples. “My eyes look at Jesus in the Eucharist – our salvation – prepared in sight of all the people at the Mass.  Then Jesus is given back to me as Simeon handed Him back to Mary.  This “sign that will be contradicted” is now with me.  As I carry Him with me, I know that I too become a sign of contradiction.

Words of Love, because He first loved me, Nov., 1996:

My soul proclaims your greatness, O Lord,

You have breathed life into my famished soul.

You alone meet the hunger which only grace can fill,

The thirst which only You can quench.

Your promises are my hope,

Your Words, the joy of my heart.

Through the sword flowed the Living Water

that flowed through this desert reviving it,

bringing life once again to the parched land.

A whisper heard within my heart,

a bright light which questioned me.

I answered, “Yes”, but did not understand.

You called me to Yourself.

With hands outstretched you beckoned me.

You watered your flower in need of nourishment.

The rays poured out from Your Heart,

pierced for love of me.

April 3, 1997:

Sometimes my heart is so filled with joy – I think it may burst;

Sometimes my heart is so filled with sorrow – I think I may die;

Sometimes I feel nothing, neither joy nor sorrow  - these are the worst times;

Oh that I would feel something!  I welcome even sorrow or pain instead of emptiness.

Meditation:  “…and She laid him in a manger because there was no room for them at the Inn” Luke 2:7

Mid-1997:

I pray to become empty – for my heart to become an empty space as the cave in which Jesus was born, and not to be full, as the Inn which had no room.  I pray to you my Mother, to place Jesus in my heart as you placed Him in the manger so that His glorious Light will inflame my poor heart, burning away all the impurities and all that which is not of God, filling the darkness of my soul with His Light.  May all be drawn to His Light as the Shepherd’s were drawn to the cave of His birth.  My Jesus, I pray that you will rest here in my heart where I will warm you with the warmth of Your very Love and form within me the empty space in which you will place the Celestial Gift of the Divine Will.   Amen

Sat., July 5, 1997, Adoration:

I was meditating on the Finding of Jesus in the Temple and the suffering of Mother Mary as She searched for three days for Her Jesus, and I thought about myself when I sometimes do not feel His presence.  How miserable I become!~  At one point during the Mass, I again thought about Our Lady and St. Joseph going in search of Jesus, and He said to me, “I did not leave them!”  I received light to understand that Mary and Joseph brought Jesus to the Temple, but He did not go off leaving them – it was they who left Him.  I knew that He was making me understand that it is never He who leaves us, but us who leave Him.  And where is it that we will find Him?  - in the Temple (the Church) and in the Temple of our hearts where He dwells.”

A few days after this, I picked up the Book of Heaven, Vol. 17, pg. 73, and read, “I do not leave you – no, no.   This is an accusation you make against your Jesus.  I never leave anyone!  The creatures withdraw from Me, not I from them.  Rather, I go behind them and next to them.”

April, 1998, Meditation on the Resurrection:

I thought about Jesus’ words to Mary Magdalene, “Do not touch Me for I have not yet ascended to My Father.”  How holy and pure we must be before we touch our dear Lord.  How many are the impure hands that touch Him each day when receiving Him in the Eucharist!  How many the impure hearts into which He descends each day!

Aug., 1998, Meditation on the Presentation:

I saw Anna as representing all the faithful,  “and coming forward at that very time, she gave thanks to God…”  (Luke 2:38) In faith, we come forward to receive Our Lord in the Holy Eucharist, and we give thanks to God for a gift so great!  We go out from the “Temple” to speak of Jesus in the Eucharist to all who will listen, “…and spoke about the child to all who were awaiting the redemption of Jerusalem.”

Aug. 14, 1998:

I was thinking about John the Apostle as he rested his head upon the Heart of Our dear Lord:  John, what did you feel?  What did you hear?  Did you hear His Heart speaking to yours?  Were you engulfed in the flames of love bursting from His adorable Heart?  What did you say to Him?  Oh John, how I desire to rest my head upon the heart of my Jesus once again.  But He is as gone for me.  I no longer feel Him near me as I once did.  Have I not done His Will?  He has given me so many graces.  Have I used them as I should have?  Jesus, as you take your Light from me, I see myself as You see me, and I am sick at what I see!  I feel weighed down by sin, covered with filth and mud – yet my soul still clings to You.  I see myself grabbing on to the hem of Your robe and I will never let go.  I will continue to cling to You, my sweet Jesus, with all my strength.

During the Mass this day, I was praying that You would remember me for I feel so abandoned and alone.  I said to You, Jesus my heart, am I being detached from You? , and I heard very softly within my heart, No, no my Lynne.  You are a part of My Heart.   Would I tear out part of My Heart and throw it away?”

True fasting, Aug., 1998:

 I now understand what “true fasting is:  it is not the fasting on bread and water, although this is where we begin; it is the denying of self – fasting from what we desire for what God desires.  This does not only relate to food, but to everything.  We must discern what God’s desires are and what are our own.  It is only in this way that we may truly be emptied of self so that God may fill us.  Our Lady has taught us, as children, to fast on bread and water to allow us to understand this ultimate truth.

Sometime the end of 1998:

I wait to hear once again the sound of You Voice whispering within my soul,

I wait to see once again your beautiful face within my soul,

Oh, how I long for you May God!

I feel as if the Holy Spirit has abandoned me,

And yet, I know you are before me as spectator, watching my every move,

listening to my every word.

Oh, when will you return to me My Divine Master?

You are everything to me, and how can I live without You?

It is a void you are making in my soul which you will fill with Yourself –

Praise you My God – my breath, my life, my all!

Dec. 29, 1998:

Before Mass during prayer, I understood that I had nothing to offer God, that everything comes only from Him – I could not even love Him as I should, and a most beautiful prayer came to me something like this, “I love you my God, but I do not love you as you love me, therefore, I take the love with which you love me and make it my own so that I may offer you this same love with which you have loved me.”  Immediately I heard within my heart, “This is what will make us one!”

Beginning of 1999:

Consider this regarding women who want to be Priests:  I thought about the fourth joyful mystery of the Rosary, the Presenting of Jesus – Our Lady offered Her Son to the Father, not with her hands, but through the hands of Simeon the Priest!  Even the Mother of God did not offer Him through her own hands – if God wanted women to be Priests, certainly it would have been His will to be offered through the hands of The Immaculate One, and not through Simeon’s!

An understanding given through prayer, beginning of Dec., 1999:

I do not have any words to explain this, but in my feeble way I will attempt:

Sometimes after receiving Holy Communion (offered in the Divine Will), I seem to feel nothing within me – it is as though I no longer exist.  I felt this even more today and wondered why this would be.  As soon as this thought came to my mind, I was given Light to understand that as Jesus gave everything of Himself, I, in being united to Him, also must give everything of myself until there is nothing left of me – as the Host is broken and consumed until there is nothing left – so must I be.

Thurs., July 8, 1999:

Before Mass, I was inspired to pray for everyone to “listen with the ears of their souls and see with the eyes of their souls.”  Just after receiving Holy Communion, I understood that the Eucharistic Reign of Christ will be within our souls (we will see Him with the eyes of our souls), that this is NOT an exterior reign; we will become as living Hosts.  I understood so much but it is impossible for me to explain in words.   Immediately after this, I heard clearly within me, “And you will see Me as I Am!”

Prayer, July, 1999:

Oh my Jesus, please remove from me all that keeps me from living in your Holy Divine Will.  If there is anything of which I am unaware of that keeps me outside of Your Will, make it known to me that I may repent of it so as to live firmly in Your Will.  I ask you to make me into that image you had of me when I was first in Your Thoughts, and do not allow me to distort that image.  May I grow ever more in Your Light as to form a Heaven for you on earth and to be united with you forever for all Eternity.  Amen

A meditation on the prophecy of Simeon:

Heavenly Mother, I enter into Your sorrow at the prophecy of Simeon when you presented with St. Joseph the child Jesus in the Temple.  The joy you felt upon presenting Jesus to the Father was taken away by the words spoken by Simeon, “…and your heart will be pierced also…(Luke 2:34)   Oh, my sorrowful Mother, in these words was the knowledge given to you how many would reject your Motherly embrace and in rejecting you, would also be rejecting your Jesus.  How many souls were contained in your Hearts that would reject the many Graces that you wanted to offer them.  My sweet Mother, to make reparation to you for all the rejection you suffered upon seeing those souls that would not only reject your Jesus, but would also reject you, I bring you the love of all the faithful throughout the ages.  I bring you the love of Jesus, your Son; of the Holy Spirit, your spouse; and Our Heavenly Father, to comfort and console you in this great sorrow.  I will remain always with you upon your lap begging together with you that the Kingdom come on earth, as it is in Heaven.

A poem I wrote many years ago at Christmas time just after having come into the Church:

Our Loving Jesus, meek and mild,

Says “Bring to Me your little child.

Sit him down before me please,

And I will grant him all his needs.”

But we are too busy, we haven’t the time.

“My Gifts are great and beyond compare,

Show Me that you truly care.

I only ask a few moments of your time,

I will give you all I have, because you are mine.”

But we are too busy, we haven’t the time.

“I Am your Father, your Brother, your Friend,

I will never abandon you – I will be with you until the end.

You are my children, this you should know.

I will wait ‘til you come, for I love you so!”

But we are too busy, we haven’t the time.

Sometime Feb, 1996:

After a meditation class (we were meditating on being with Jesus at the Jordan), Sr. Maureen asked me why I didn’t put Jesus’ sandals on my feet when we were meditating.  After I spoke with her, I knew that I had to do this, and immediately I felt fear within me – not even knowing why.  I prayed to Our Lady to take away all my fears and to offer them to Jesus, asking for her help in what I was about to do.

“Jesus is sitting before me.  I kneel down at His feet taking one foot into my hands.  I slip off His sandal and kiss the wound on His foot.  I now take the other foot into my hands and do the same.  I stand up and slip both sandals onto my own feet saying as I do so, “Yes, I will lord, because I love you.”  I follow Jesus who now stands up and walks in front of me, and Mother Mary is on my left walking besides me.  We walk only a few steps and Jesus turns around facing me.  He doesn’t say a word, but I am enlightened and know that the Holy Spirit who will fill me completely, once I am empty, will do everything – I need do nothing!  What is there to fear?  I need only get out of His way!”  I understood after this that during my meditation class I was very comfortable being a little girl in the arms of Our Lord, but I feared having to be like Him – walking in His sandals!

I do not belong of the earth,

I belong to Heaven.

In order for me to get to Heaven,

I must spend my time on earth,

Acting as though I belong to Heaven!
